@Ausbones Couldn't this be just unawareness... where the body is asymptomatic to the condition which actually makes it very dangerous
English

@_deoluwaa Same thing that happened to me , went to see a doctor, from what I said he had to wait to ask who I am 😂
English

Many actually hide it.
One i experienced
“Where do you feel the headache?”
“It is generalised”
I first drop biro.
What or who are you? 😹

The urge for doctors to tell the doctor treating them “I’m a doctor too” is uncontrollable 😂

The parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus has lingered with me all week. In it, a wealthy man, clothed in purple and fine linen, dined sumptuously each day while a suffering beggar named Lazarus lay at his gate hungry, covered in sores, and hoping only for crumbs from the table. The rich man was not judged for his prosperity, but for his indifference: he stepped over the afflicted man at his own gate without truly seeing him.
Today, Uganda finds its own Lazarus at the gate. Thousands of young doctors, medical interns, some trained at public expense, stand ready to serve in our hospitals, the very institutions that sustain this nation's health. They clerk patients, manage wards, respond to emergencies, and provide care to countless Ugandans, often filling critical staffing gaps. Yet many face financial hardship, with allowances threatened by policy shifts.
The gate is right before us. The choice to step over these dedicated professionals in their time of need, or to stop, recognize their sacrifice, and ensure they are fairly supported remains ours to make. Their well-being directly impacts the lives of all Ugandans who depend on a functional health system. For the sake of compassion, justice, and our shared future, I urge the right decision: #PayMedicalInterns.

@EmmaOkoreMD @Jaachi_light BUT tithe is 10 percent ... why was she giving a half 😐
English

@Jaachi_light First of all, who instructed her to tithe half of her salary?
Secondly, why did she hide it from.her husband
Even if God spoke to her, I'm sure he would have wanted her to carry her husband along.
English

I started tithing half of my salary in silence.
No announcement.
No debate.
Just a transfer every month before anything else moved.
At first, it felt small.
Manageable.
Then the bills started stacking up.
My husband noticed the gap before he noticed my peace.
“Where is the missing money going?” he asked one night, voice tight.
I didn’t lie.
“I’m tithing.”
He laughed once.
Not humor.
Disbelief.
“So you’re giving away money while we’re struggling?”
The words landed heavy in the room.
Days passed.
Tension grew between shared meals and avoided eye contact.
He checked accounts.
I stopped explaining.
One evening, he finally snapped.
“This is financial betrayal.”
I looked at him calmly.
“It was never hidden. I just didn’t think I needed permission for obedience.”
That line stayed in the air long after I walked away.
He didn’t sleep that night.
Not because of the money.
But because for the first time, we weren’t just arguing about finances.
We were living in two different definitions of faith, sacrifice, and control.
And in marriage… where does personal conviction end and shared responsibility begin?
Should I have informed my husband on how I decide to use my money?
