I will regularly lightly tap the wall near a jumper and they always look at my finger, then trace the arm to my face. The intelligence to know to do that is very impressive.
Pro tip: it's very easy to train them to like you and if you bring them to a spot with ants or water bugs they will clean up that mess very fast and love you

It's just a jumping spider and they're harmless. Sometimes they wear water drops as hats for no reason at all. Don't kill it, it will just eat all the bad bugs in your room for you.
