What they are doing in Virginia is what they will do in Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia.
Once they have control a states major urban center/centers they will outvote the rural (mostly native) population.
Any state with 50-60% split between the urban and rural population is one election away from the same fate.

Documents seized during IDF operations in Gaza, including a 2021 letter signed by former Hamas politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh, evidence these links with PCPA and others. Truly abhorrent and unimaginable behavior today at the @FedSocUCLA event that hosted a @DHSgov lawyer. Leftist students repeatedly disrupted the event, yelled profanities, shouted, made their phones ping incessantly, and eventually stormed out to a rally that violated all time, place, and manner restrictions. These students can’t handle @FedSoc event about the law, but will remain students at @UCLA_Law and eventually be admitted to the Bar. It is a damning indictment on higher education that students behave so despicably.

Steyer’s craziness is illustrated by his immigration policy. He has promised to abolish U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in California (which violates the constitutional system of federal supremacy by suggesting a state can opt out of a federal law).
But further, he has promised to put ICE agents and their bosses in jail. As he put it, he will take on ICE “the same way we took on the mob.” Again, the idea that a state could prosecute federal officials for enforcing federal law is preposterous. It would be the equivalent of launching a civil war between our largest state and the federal government.

Re the SPLC indictment.
This is a good example of why the expectation for "instant" prosecution of bad actors from prior administrations is so stupid.
The SPCL case is 100% a product of the Trump 47 DOJ - there is 0% chance this was already underway prior to Jan. 2025.
It shows how much time it takes to build a complicated federal case when you start from scratch.
Adjust your expectations accordingly.
