“Testimony” culture is a sick, depraved tradition in mod churches that glorifies a past life of wicked sin & defiles the consciences of young people. There’s nothing holy or good in sharing details of past depravity & degeneracy. No one is edified, just scandalized or titillated.

Nattokinase is the most underrated heart supplement on the planet. A new study of 1,062 people just showed it shrank arterial plaque by 36% in one year. It lowers blood pressure, your risk of strokes and even protects your brain. Here's everything you need to know about it:🧵

I am saddened, and completely shocked at how many claiming to know Christ have zero confidence in Christ. Our Christian walk is not by our own brute strength. It is solely by walking in dependence on the power and wisdom of Christ. He clothes us with his righteousness.

@TomBuck @JenniferBuck65 Let the family members of harlots worry about evangelizing the latter to be Christians. At least the family will have good sense to keep their dirty laundry in private once the wayward kinswoman repents. It does not need to be put in public.

The woke SBC leaders hated the story of how the gospel transformed me from being an abusive husband and saved our marriage. One of those leaders told @JenniferBuck65 she should’ve divorced me. Rachael Denhollander told us she was happy for us, but our story was dangerous because it would give people false expectations and discourage the survivor community. We couldn’t understand how anyone would be opposed to such a powerful story of gospel transformation. But now, some of the same men who have fought against that woke movement are offended by a story of how the gospel changed a sexually promiscuous woman and transformed her into a faithful wife and beautiful mother. They believe that story is dangerous and will discourage young men. I’ve not advocated that young men or women should feel obligated to marry someone who’s been sexually immoral in the past. Nor am I saying they have to just lower their expectations. But let’s never be afraid to share powerful stories of how the gospel can transform people and how their past doesn’t necessarily condemn their entire future. God actually can take an immoral man or woman, transform them into something new, and make them into a godly spouse. I’m afraid what we’re ultimately lowering is people’s expectations of the transforming power of the gospel!

It’s striking a nerve because men still want women to be perpetual virgins to fulfill whatever manliness quota they have… This man did not downplay his wife’s past, he rejoiced in her salvation, her piety, her reverence, her complete transformation in Christ. There is nothing effeminate about a man who sees Christ in his (future) bride. She is not parading around in it, and I guarantee she is not teaching her children to repeat her lifestyle before Christ. Far better is it for a man to marry a humble, Christlike woman who is forgiven of fornication before her salvation, than for a man to marry a self righteous, law filled, legalistic lost woman who thinks she is a Christian because she is a virgin. The breakdown of the Christian family and home have rendered more girls sacrificed to the altar of sex and self gratification. This isn’t teaching young men to “accept sin,” this is an outpouring of men’s understanding of grace, redemption, and forgiveness. It is not small or weak men who can do this. And, her testimony has power through Christ, not any man’s approval. God has used all kinds of foolishness to spread his word for centuries, he will not be bound to small mindedness.

God can save sinners and redeem their broken pasts. You will not find me making fun of these two or their marriage in any way. With that said, this post is striking a nerve because it comes in the context of a deeply broken social contract, including and especially in the church, where young men are expected to tolerate infinite bad behavior from young women even as older men and older women refuse to hold them accountable. If the evangelical church in our day did not have a reputation for effeminacy and refusing to acknowledge the sins of women, many of which are actively destroying our civilization, perhaps our presentation of the gospel to the culture would be taken more seriously.

"Why wouldn’t you want them here." Because I like American culture, and importing millions of Indians who bring their culture with them makes America less like America and more like India.

Im shocked how many Christians actually think they are better than others because they sin different. I thought we all knew our sin is deserving of hell and only God is good. I thought we knew that. Wow

@sdf0023 @5PointBaptist @WWUTTcom So, being a pedo is a worse sin than being promiscuous? Or are there different classifications of sin? Is one sin not that bad and the other really bad?

Promiscuous women can be forgiven their sins, washed clean, clothed in white, and with a new heart and a new mind in Christ Jesus, they can make godly housewives and loving mothers. If you don't think so, you don't know the gospel or the grace and power of God (1 Cor. 6:11).

If only Paul had told the Corinthians which of these Christians were transformed by the gospel but too risky to ever consider marrying. “neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.”

@RubnA29061 @5PointBaptist @WWUTTcom An adult marrying a formerly promiscuous woman is not even remotely the same risk as letting children be alone with someone who has fought that demon. But it is a choice and I believe in redemption and if God made it strongly clear to me AND my kids were old enough then maybe

@sdf0023 @5PointBaptist @WWUTTcom I agree with this. So what’s your point? It’s closely related to what I’m saying. We were talking about the pedo. Would you let him babysit your children after he becomes a Christian ?

@sdf0023 @5PointBaptist @WWUTTcom Yes, but it’s not okay to promote this type of marriage, and that’s exactly what he is doing. It’s making Christianity look like a humiliation ritual and a joke. Why would a person retain his or her virginity for marriage if you can just lose it and pray for forgiveness later?

@sdf0023 @5PointBaptist @WWUTTcom You don’t get it. It’s about patterns of behavior, not about repentance. We are humans, and our tendency is to sin. If you marry a promiscuous person, even though they repented, the temptation of falling into his or her old habits will always there.
