@seanfutsal @tindalla @jmoore_96 Sean, “standards to drop too low” of what exactly? Same venues are now being used/hired in NFS T1 that were previously used/hired in NFL SL! What other standards? Domination of matches & subsequent results?

By this point, anyone who isn’t fully aware of the futsal league pathway in the past must find it all very confusing now. Too many politics being played in a community that was once very united. Also a competition pathway for me means promotion/relegation not applications to join

@tindalla @jmoore_96 NFL (-2018) allowed standards to drop too low. NFS set standards too high.

@jmoore_96 That approach was tried and failed. No incentive to do more beyond a 1st team so clubs didn’t. For those building clubs the Impact on the court is often not seen for years but agree it will happen. Enforcing standards can only be positive at this stage of the games development.

Would have liked the 8 team finals to stay as QF's were competitive and gives more clubs the hope of getting there, which is great exposure for futsal in those countries.

@peripateticles @FA @LNFSengland Sorry but you're mistaken. The FA hasn't pulled out of futsal. They have simply stopped funding the NT program, & temporarily cut coach education. The FA futsal structure, including a quality elite league is still in place. What does LNFS offer other than promises?

@FutsalFinn @TVFutsalConf You know more about the photo than me! I'm just making the point that futsal should be able to take these opportunities if it can, rather than be denied by administrators. Same should apply in Ireland!

@seanfutsal @TVFutsalConf Wasn’t that tournament funded by a sponsor so the team didn’t have to raise the funds & as far as I know there wasn’t even a structure to select players from, just personal contacts. English futsal is a different situation but that said it’s not impossible to find support

If English Beach Soccer can organise their own international teams competing in UEFA and FIFA competition, then why should English futsal not have the opportunity to do similar?
