In the space of literally two minutes walking through central London just now, was offered (by separate people) drugs, sex and brothels, accosted by some weirdo trying to get me into his “free taxi” and had someone else try to rob me. Some interesting developments in Labour. Apparently the party is now braced for backbencher defections to the Greens, if Burnham loses in Makerfield... Also the Greens have apparently named Clive Lewis and Richard Burnham among possible defectors. All the more reason for Rob Kenyon to win in Makerfield. It will hasten the self immolation of the Labour Party.

Warning: ⚠️ I’ve been sent these so I know rumours are starting to spread about what happened at Crosby beach today. I was down there today by chance and there was a helicopter and heavy police presence. I wasn’t going to say this in case I’m accused of spreading misinformation but the main one that keeps coming to me is it was teenage girls fighting and one got her face slashed. Some even saying stabbed. Also heard 2 have been injured. The only reason I am now mentioning this is to emphasise that here are numerous conflicting stories straight away. So something is wrong. Be careful what you read on this one.
