The most dangerous thing you can do right now is NOT use the latest AI tools. Period. Every day a new company is laying off thousands of people who don't know how to use the most modern AI tools If I were in the 9-5 world right now, this is every step I'd take: 1. Download Codex and build your first app. Learn how to implement a front end and database. AI can teach you all of this 2. Download OpenClaw or Hermes agent. Tell the agent about your entire life. Career, goals, and ambitions. Ask it what workflows it can implement to get you closer to those goals 3. Get Claude Design. Keep an eye out on X for visual language and designs you like. Feed this inspiration into Claude Design and get comfortable designing beautiful interfaces 4. Get the ChatGPT Pro plan. Feed GPT 5.5 Pro your hardest problems. Burn as many tokens as humanly possible with this model 5. Constantly look at your limits in all your AI plans. If you're ever above 50% on your limits, get angry that you're not burning enough tokens. 6. Learn how to use Claude Code side by side with Codex. Learn both their strengths. These are the only 2 coding tools that matter. Master these and you're golden If you do these 6 things you are in excellent position to not only be safe in your career, but also dominate those that don't pick up these skills.

Fractured Alliance RTS C&C inspired
Big fan of the gritty looking environment and sounds. What made 2000's RTS games so good? And what can we do for our game Fractured Alliance to go in the right direction?

Our agreement with @SpaceX means we will use all the compute capacity at their Colossus 1 data center. This will give us over 300 megawatts of additional capacity to deploy within the month.

We're winding back our peak hours limit reduction and doubling 5 hour limits. Excited to partner with SpaceX to bring you more compute and we'll keep pushing to bring you the best coding agent in the world.
Claude@claudeai

We’ve agreed to a partnership with @SpaceX that will substantially increase our compute capacity. This, along with our other recent compute deals, means that we’ve been able to increase our usage limits for Claude Code and the Claude API.

Two big changes for Claude Code today: 5-hour rate limits doubled on Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise, and we’ve removed the peak-hours limits for Pro and Max. Both effective today.

Warcraft III: Legacy is back on the Battlenet app. If you own Warcraft III: Reforged, you can now play the old classic version. It is the same as the game before Reforged came out. To get it, open the Battlenet app. Go to your Warcraft III page. Find the Game Version menu at the bottom left, above the Play button. Select Warcraft III - Legacy TFT 1.29. It will download about 6.25 GB. Right now, you can only play it offline or with friends on the same local network. Online play on Battlenet is not ready yet. This is great for the original story campaigns and old custom maps that work best on this version.

I am aware there's a pretty strong divide between Warcraft fans that say things took a turn for the worse with Warcarft III: Reign of Chaos (2002) - and to be fair I never understood why, and I am not part of that group. Yes, the original Warcraft (1994) and its sequel Warcraft II (1995) were both great and in a way genre-defining, but I don't think you find more people still playing I and II combined than those still playing Warcraft III to this day (even on a competitive level). How is this game 24 years old and still looks (and plays!) so epic? This feels like the absolute peak of Blizzard's power and domination in the early 2000s and it's kept most of its charm and brilliance. I remember Internet Cafes being packed to the rim with two factions. One were the Counter Strike squads, the other were the Warcraft III dudes. And you know what? It was glorious. Warcraft III felt like gaming had reached its absolute peak, it was probably THE most talked about and played game that year.

THIS GUY VIBE CODED A FULL CAPYBARA FOOD DELIVERY GAME IN 2 WEEKS WITH CLAUDE CODE you play as a capybara delivering food on a bike. orders stack on the back, you have a phone with apps in-game and the whole delivery system is realistic 2 weeks, zero game dev experience, and ENTIRELY AI generated the full stack: > claude code for all the code > three.js for the 3D engine > suno for original music > elevenlabs for sound effects and voice > GPT images-2 and grok for textures and illustrations > tripo3d for generating all the 3D assets the cinematics are all in-game too. he asked claude to build a cinematic editor with timeline controls, camera animation, and transitions. then he just placed the cameras himself his workflow was more planning than coding (obviously): > come up with the core mechanic > plan every feature using claude /plan mode > generate assets with AI tools > spend most of his time on the final polish, prop placement, and making the design feel right he said the human part is what most vibe coded games are missing. AI can generate everything but having taste for what looks good and what feels right is still on you the game is playable right now in the browser this is what vibe coding is actually capable of in the game dev space right now a year ago this would have taken a small team of developers, a sound designer, and an artist working together for months now one person with no experience can ship a polished playable game with story, music, and mechanics in 14 days the tools keep getting better and the barrier to making real games keeps getting lower

Well would you look at that. Blizzard continues to listen to me. Warcraft III (Legacy) is now available on the Battlenet launcher, requiring only 6.2GB. I'll have to mess around with it some to see how well it works. Warcraft 3 forever! 🔥

For 5.2GB of disk space, you have access to World of Warcraft Season of Discovery, 20th Anniversary Edition, and Classic Hardcore. Meanwhile, you need 28.8GB to have access to Warcraft 3. Blizzard really needs to add an option to install WC3 without Reforged assets.

That moment when you boot into the main menu of your childhood.. Cross-compiled Warsmash (a LibGDX-based Warcraft III engine reimplementation in Java) to JavaScript using TeaVM so the whole game runs directly in the browser, with map files served from OPFS. Still some quirks left but great progress. Credits to Retera for his hard work. #Warcraft3 #RetroGaming #Gamedev #TeaVM #LibGDX #WebGL #Java #OpenSource #BrowserGaming #IndieDev #RTS

As someone with a son who is on NDIS it’s extremely helpful for us as he wouldn’t be able to get the level of care and support he needs without it. I don’t feel like it’s the patients that cause the issue, it’s the suppliers. One of my sons seems to have “NDIS tax” where they charge extra only if your on NDIS, particularly around cancellations.

NDIS spending vs Medicare spending in Australia. Medicare covers 26.5 million people for about 34 billion, NDIS covers 700,000 for approximately 50-52 billion.

Opus 4.7 just dropped. Everyone's reading the benchmarks. The line you should read: "Prompts written for earlier models can sometimes now produce unexpected results." 4.7 interprets instructions literally. If your prompt was vague and 4.6 figured out what you meant, 4.7 won't. It does exactly what you said. This is the feature and the trap. Better instruction following only helps when the instructions are right. Most agent harnesses, workflows, and CLAUDE.md files were tuned for a model that filled in the gaps. Those gaps are now your bugs. Self-verification, /ultrareview, task budgets, 3x vision. All real. But the upgrade that breaks your existing setup is the one you should audit first. The model stopped guessing what you meant. Now you find out how much it was guessing.
Claude@claudeai

Introducing Claude Opus 4.7, our most capable Opus model yet. It handles long-running tasks with more rigor, follows instructions more precisely, and verifies its own outputs before reporting back. You can hand off your hardest work with less supervision.

I'm tempted to finally churn off Slack. We're paying ~$6k/year for 40 people and they just quoted me $21k/year for the business version that includes a BAA (and all the shitty AI features). Incredibly overrated software
