They see out the whole season and the coaches play to win otherwise they lose their job. NBA teams won’t fire a coach over a bad season, they’ll happily let him see it out and get a top pick.

So it’s not on him, if his teammates could shoot it wouldn’t be a problem.

Their coverage will never change and it forces KD to make dumb passes and turn it over. It’s not on him, the spacing is just ASS.

@sehansam11 @zarniev @knicks_tape99 Yep. Great scorers get doubled. Burn it and hit guys for open shots (and don’t turn the ball over), & they start changing coverages & you get looks. The holes in his game make him a less effective scorer. Can’t be the best scorer ever if it can be taken away from you like that.

@_deregeauxrob @techpoto @pickasidepod There’s honestly no debate, MVP giannis was playing 30 mins a game averaging 30 14 and 6, KG was playing 40 mins a game averaging 24 14 and 5. Give giannis an extra 10 mins a game those averages go to 40 18 and 8.

@_deregeauxrob @techpoto @pickasidepod Respectfully MVP giannis was unstoppable. His game was simple but he was also an athletic freak who couldn’t be stopped 1 on 1. You try force him to shoot by leaving him open only for him to drive to the paint and get an and 1. You just had to live with constant doubles.

Superstar players get targeted and seeing he is the main guy, teams send bodies at him bc of his size. The elite players know getting to the line wins u games. Just look at the last two MVP winners.
