Niliquit 9-5 ilikuwa inanilipa 150k/month.
Imenitake two years for my company kunilipa 67k/month na nafanya kazi from 7AM to 11PM every day, na sometimes unapata uko na employees wanakupea the hardest time ever, na kuwafuta kazi ni even more expensive.
Every month uko na bills za kulipa in the millions, end month kila mtu ako happy isipokuwa wewe juu uko na another 30 days kuraise another million. Na imagine all this trouble ndiyo net salary yako ikuwe 50k
Sometimes doh haitoshi unasema wacha ulipe the employees alafu KRA utawatumia yao by 9th, unajaribu kupata loan bank inakataa juu hauna shamba ya security, inafika 15th unapata weird calls, unashika unapata ni KRA, unawaambia utawalipa next Friday, wanakuambia Friday haiwezekani, labda Thursday. Inabidi uongee with one of your clients akulipe mapema, anakusomea akikuambia biz haifanywi hivo but anaitikia eventually.
Next week inafika unalipa KRA, SHA,NSSF, Housing Levy. Unahave some peace kidogo only to realize that next week ni end month na this time uko na deficit kubwa kushinda last month, and the cycle continues.
Kama uko 9-5 na uko sawa, I can’t advise you to quit. Heri ujaribu entrepreneurship in parallel but usiquit job yako. It feels good when you tell people that you quit your job to pursue your dream but you also need to understand that your dream will take time before it starts paying the bills, and it might also die before you eat a shilling from it.

Kuna Life 9-5 will never give you hata uchape kazi miaka ngapi. Utakua unaonea Social Media na kwa TV ukisema watu wanaosha pesa huku nje but in real sense watu wanajituma. Be ambitious enough to also live a life that hata ukifika 40 na udedi atleast you lived a life.

FINAL TOUCHES: Seats fitted as Wajir town gets ready to host the upcoming Madaraka Day celebrations June 1.
While announcing Wajir as the venue, President Ruto said marking the event in Nothern Kenya was timely because "Madaraka Day" is the day when Kenya attained internal self-rule from British colonial governance, while full independence followed later on December 12, 1963.
"Nothern Kenya should also feel part and parcel of this nation," Ruto said.
It is the first time a national event of such magnitude is being held in Nothern Kenya.

These men are all directors of One Petroleum Limited, the company currently embroiled in the overpriced emergency fuel import controversy — and they collectively sit atop a corporate web that has faced allegations of tax evasion, procurement manipulation, loan default, land fraud, port monopoly abuse, and political intimidation spanning three decades;
⭕️ Fuel price-gouging (2026): One Petroleum — run by all named directors — imported fuel at 3 times the government G-to-G rate during the Iran crisis, potentially spiking pump prices by Sh19/litre
⭕️ Contaminated/substandard fuel: DCI arrested the Petroleum PS Liban, EPRA DG Kiptoo and KPC MD Sang over substandard fuel imports; 5 stations caught selling adulterated diesel
⭕️ KRA tax evasion (multiple): Raids and court battles spanning 2011–2020 over Sh458M customs fraud, Sh180M undeclared income, and Sh68M under-declared sales across shared Jaffer companies
⭕️ Semlex driving licence scam: Mujtaba Jaffer brokered a politically-rigged tender for Belgium’s Semlex, using nominee companies and a late-night ministerial meeting to secure the contract (OCCRP investigation)
⭕️ Sh464M loan default: @EADB_Official sued Mujtaba Jaffer over a defaulted $3.6M guaranteed loan dating to 1998
⭕️ Grain monopoly: 98% control of Kenya’s grain imports at preferential rates — flagged by Parliament as anti-competitive; monopoly ended by Court of Appeal in 2024
⭕️ Land fraud: Ksh1.8B NLC compensation ordered refunded; Sh2B paid for land belonging to a deceased person
⭕️ Gas Yetu scandal: Ksh3B public cooking gas subsidy project allegedly diverted from National Oil Corporation to Jaffer’s company
@HassanAliJoho smear campaign: Defamation suit over alleged orchestrated drug trafficking smears against a port business rival; Jaffer associates boasted “We know the system” after a procedural court win
⭕️ Mbaraki Holdings (Mauritius): The offshore shareholder — a classic tax-minimisation vehicle — consistent with KRA’s longstanding concerns about profit-shifting across the Jaffer corporate web @DCI_Kenya @ahmednasirlaw @EACCKenya

In 2022, the reliable prophet Polycarp Igathe told the good people of Nairobi NOT TO TOUCH @SakajaJohnson with a 100-foot pole.
That he was a charlatan, through and through.
That he would rob them wholesale, to distribute to his criminal associates retail.
In 2023-2024, we find out that out of 16,000 "employees", between 6,123 and 7,777 of them, in one three-month period:
Shared the same bank account for purposes of payroll.
The only thing Igathe got wrong was saying that Sakaja would steal wholesale and distribute retail.
The man steals wholesale, and distributes wholesale.
Read my entire analysis here:
Bonnie Mwangi, CPA, LLM, MBA on X: "If you have 32 minutes, I will show you how Nairobi County loses 32,949,346,981. Yes, that's not a typo. KSH 32 billion. Let me walk you through a trip to hell. Data from 2023-2024. The county had KSH 33 billion to spend. To serve 4.6 million residents. The county t.co/q5BTekNYgz" / X

@AnganaKeith Constructive feedback is ok, destructive criticism is evil.
Ours is a free democracy but that doesn't mean insults especially of the unpalatable kind we see on social media.
Even in the US, they don't do that.

@abuga_makori Hello @grok can you give us the full context of the nation about @ clash in Addis: inside mediation efforts to reconcile Ruto, Uhuru .

UHURU/RUTO STORMY MEETING IN ADDIS ABABA
By Gordon Opiyo
What I have been telling you has now been confirmed.. The Nation reports about tense moments in Addis Ababa.. When Ethiopian PM tried to broker peace between Ruto and Uhuru...
As a Gentleman, President Ruto told the Ethiopian PM that he has done everything humanly possible to accommodate Uhuru Kenyatta.
He gave Uhuru 3 CS slots, gave Uhuru 5 PS slots, and several key Board member positions. Ruto has also not pursued Uhuru Kenyatta for several things he did and stole when he was President.
He did this for one reason, he respects Uhuru, irregardless of the betrayal Uhuru Kenyatta served him.
But what does Uhuru do in return... Uhuru Kenyatta decides to sponsor chaos. Uhuru Kenyatta was behind the 2024 Coup attempt, Uhuru Kenyatta sponsored several Health Sector strikes. Uhuru Kenyatta, through the media houses he controls has consistently spread lies and propaganda against Ruto.
And now Uhuru Kenyatta is sponsoring Sifuna to create chaos and confusion.
If it were Rigathi, one would fully understand why he is fighting Ruto... But Uhuru Kenyatta????
Of course it is all about the Oath... Oath that swore that power shall remain in House of Mumbi.
If you doubted what I was saying.. Go buy the Nation and read for yourself..
Lakini, the good thing is this... Kenyans will never return power to the House of Mumbi.. Even if they sponsor 10 Sifunas to carry sufurias in the head.
