When you see this cap who first comes to your mind. 😂

Just another good initiative from MTC Chennai! They’ve launched premium bus services from Siruseri to CMBT (P570S) and Kilambakkam to Tiruvanmiyur (P91) starting today. Since I had nothing else to do, I booked a ticket on the first bus from Siruseri (7:00 AM). Yes, tickets need to be booked in advance. Unlike regular bus services where we board and buy a ticket from the conductor, this one works the other way around. You book first—and you can even choose your seat while booking. That means you’re guaranteed a seat, even on a crowded bus. No conductor too. as it's the first day and first day, @Chennai_One team has appointed a guy for the travel. Chennai already has EV superfast buses, and these premium buses are just another feather in MTC’s cap. The bus arrived right on time in my area. Pros Fewer seats, so there’s ample legroom—enough even for a six-foot-tall guy like me. Seats in other AC and deluxe buses are packed tighter, so anyone who’s travelled in both will notice the difference immediately. Four additional seats have been added in the usual standing area. Cushion seats are provided. Comfort-wise, it’s much better than the regular 570 AC EV buses and on par with diesel AC bus seats. USB 2.0 and Type-C ports are available for every seat, and the charging speed is good. Wi-Fi is provided too. Multiple cameras for safety Seat numbers are mentioned in the bus. Cons For my route, the usual AC bus ticket costs ₹40, and Deluxe is ₹31. This premium ticket cost me ₹125—over three times more. My Best-Case Scenario The first bus leaves at 7:00 AM. Around that time, I can still find plenty of buses with free seats. But by 8:00 AM, most buses are jam-packed. While returning, buses are usually free until around 4:30 PM. After that, they fill up quickly. Since an auto would cost me ₹300 and a cab usually crosses ₹500, I’d definitely prefer this bus in the evening. The price feels reasonable enough for what it offers.
