My entire organization is remote. $4 million of monthly revenue across Bolt Storage, R.E. Cost Seg and Somewhere. More than 400 employees. 15 of them are Americans and the rest are split about 40% South Africa, 40% Latam and 20% Philippines / Egypt / Sri Lanka / everywhere else.

Builders screw up when building new Airbnbs Here are the most common mistakes: *Bedrooms* In a Short Term Rental, the bedrooms just need to be big enough for a king bed, 2 night stands, and some walking room. No need to have wasted space *Kitchens* Unless you plan on hosting Gordon Ramsey for every booking, the kitchen should not be excessively large. Sure we need all the basics plus some countertop space but that’s it. *Closets* Walk in closets are a massive waste in Airbnbs. Closets just barely need to be big enough to accommodate the suitcase contents. *Dining Room* Dining room needs to have space for a table to match the sleeping occupancy. Example: if you have a 4 bedroom that sleeps 10, you can’t have a standard 6 person table. *Swimming Pool* 30+ foot length pools are not necessary in a Short Term Rental. Ideal length is 20-24 feet. This allows for just enough space to accommodate guests. ________________________ The common theme with all these spaces are builders allocating square footage to spaces that don’t generate high revenue. The extra square footage should go to things like game rooms, movie theaters, or a small floor plan to lower building costs.

Growing up, one of my favorite Passover traditions was the Afikoman hunt. For those who don’t know, after the Seder meal, someone hides a piece of matzah (the Afikoman), and it becomes a full-on scavenger hunt. Whoever finds it gets a prize — usually a few bucks or bragging rights! This year, I decided to join the hunt again… but instead of pulling out a stale piece of matzah, I found something unexpected: 👉 An invite to the 3rd Annual Real Estate Gala! Last Valentine’s Day, I got a call from @BobKnakal. He told me he had just been fired from JLL—and then, without missing a beat, he said he wanted me to join him in whatever he did next. I was mind-boggled. How could the greatest real estate broker of all time get fired? And yet, here he was, ready to start a new chapter and asking me to be a part of it.
