@CalebBaskin @aaronrubin yeah it's frustrating. I'm also shocked that there is no first-party way to sync my configs across multiple computers.

Big news. I migrated from my personal Claude Max to our company account so I can pay $1,600 instead of $200 for the same monthly usage.

@CalebBaskin Enterprise can migrate users but because I had used my personal email to create the account way back when I didn't migrate, shut the old to use the new. Pain in the butt.

@SullyOmarr Optics are only bad if this causes a flood of new issues (it might) but if it works, then the sky is the limit

@YahwehtheLesser @DevinAI For the last two weeks devin is handling full end to end tasks for me. I invested a lot in deterministic checks for the repo though and I think that's more important than what coding agent or harness you use.

@sethtjf @DevinAI I'm using claude and concurrently chatGPT 5.5, to balance / to provide assessment, in my workflows with claude, and I'm at the point where I honestly can't see how using any of these tools makes any sense at present I can do everything I ask them to self-correct, so much faster

Honestly cannot believe the amount of babysitting and manual oversight required to make Claude do anything This is a pure garbage product and I'm paying $200 a month I don't even CARE ABOUT the $200 a month. I'd pay $1k a month, if this actually worked, regularly PURE SHIT

@backnotprop @ridafkih Yeah man heaven forbid a company makes money from their own service that you're using to make money for yourself. So absolutely selfish of them.

I find this reasonable. Pro/Max accounts should be exclusively for human usage. Use the API if you want automation, and pay appropriately for it. But also, if you don't want automation, remove the -p flag from Claude Code instead of this weird dance.

Starting June 15, paid Claude plans can claim a dedicated monthly credit for programmatic usage. The credit covers usage of: - Claude Agent SDK - claude -p - Claude Code GitHub Actions - Third-party apps built on the Agent SDK

@hammer_mt It’s strange that they don’t just keep raising prices on the sub. Why even bother with all of this logic and rules. I’m sure their time is better spent elsewhere. Just double price and let us go wild.

@gregpr07 I thought it was (1) the token subsidy; and (2) not getting telemetry for future refinement (which relates to point 1)

How much alpha is there really in having users on your harness? I was a SUPERUSER of claude code and it took me one prompt (“migrate all mcps”) to switch fully to codex. Why is Anthropic trying so hard to own this layer by killing awesome use cases (openclaw, conductor)?

@ryanjdaniels That bad part of the law firm business model was always the cap on billables per associate. You could only grow linearly. But now you can grow exponentially. What a time.

@sethtjf Knowing solo and small firm lawyers, they can learn all this stuff and update it every few months when the models change and break their frameworks, but they won’t.

We're heading toward a world where orchestrators like Claude, Codex, and Gemini connect to specialized tools for specialized work. Not all-in on any one of them. eDiscovery MCPs are the clearest signal yet. That software takes real training to use well, which is why most firms have only one or two power users. A world where any lawyer can point their Claude at it and work in natural language is a genuinely good outcome.

Anthropic just integrated Harvey AI as a connector inside the same release that ships 12 plugins doing what Harvey does. Harvey raised $200M in March at $11B. Legora raised $600M Series D last month. Their pitch: legal-specialized AI built on top of frontier models. That value capture only works if the model layer underneath stays neutral. It didn't. Tuesday's release: commercial counsel, employment counsel, litigation associate, plus 9 other practice-area plugins. Plus MCP connectors to Westlaw, CoCounsel, Box, Everlaw, DocuSign. The exact workflow stack Harvey and Legora built their valuations on, shipped natively inside Claude. Then Anthropic integrated Harvey itself. Which makes Harvey a data source feeding into Claude. The model layer said yes to powering Harvey. The model layer said yes to integrating Harvey. The model layer also said yes to shipping every product Harvey ships. Per Anthropic AGC Mark Pike, legal is already the #1 power-user job function inside Cowork with 3x the usage of any other function. A single webinar on legal teams using Claude pulled 20,000 registrations. Legal AI was already running on Anthropic. Tuesday removed the middleman. The next $11B legal AI valuation is the one nobody raises.

I’m exactly as underwhelmed about the Claude for Legal announcement as I thought I would be. What am I missing?
