You know what SOC II is *actually* good for? Subprocessor lists.

Legal education is about to change. Today, we’re launching the Legal AI Scholars Program in collaboration with leading law schools. AI is becoming a core part of how legal work gets done. Graduates need to understand how to use it effectively, responsibly, and in real workflows. Together with faculty, we’re developing a curriculum focused on applying AI to legal tasks, understanding its strengths and limitations, and developing the judgment required to use it well. The program is already rolling out across select schools, with more to follow in key jurisdictions over the coming months. @NathanFlurry I’m of the belief that the best DX (or AX? I guess) is for docs to be written as a skill but where we can just point a link at it. I hate managing skills. It’s a PITA

Hot take after 2 months with skills:
llms.txt > skills
- Works with native web fetch (no "npx skills")
- Pass a llms.txt URL to any prompt
- Always up to date
- One line in CLAUDE.md, no symlinks
But skills got the distribution right, they're here to stay

@berman66 MCP for a solo dev is actually wonderful. I make changes to the tools in the MCP, adjust some prompting and don’t need to touch the frontend or agent’s code at all. Way faster than previously.

Yeah. For solo devs, MCP is overkill.
You do not need a protocol server for one solo dev calling APIs directly.
But MCP is what happens when you hit enterprise scale with enterprise customers.
500 engineers, 40 SaaS tools, and a buyer who won't sign a contract without the right security.
CLI with raw API doesn't cut it for them.
Someone has to give the AI credentials, scope its access, log what it did, and revoke access when someone leaves.
MCP solves this, and enterprises need it

Thank god MCP is dead Just as useless of an idea as LLMs.txt was It's all dumb abstractions that AI doesn't need because AI's are as smart as humans so they can just use what was already there which is APIs

I mentioned this to the team at @WorkOS last week, but what we are missing is User Delegation Tokens. Agents act on behalf of existing users. The agents are not users themselves that are actors that have equal or child permissions of the user that triggers them and we should be able to hit endpoints to get UDT with their own refresh logic.

I think we have a problem here because of how people think of what an agent is An agent isn’t the application (which oauth is designed for). An agent isn’t “cursor” or “claude code”, the agent is the specific actor within that runtime. Two separate chats in the your cursor are not the same agent. They have different contexts, different intents and should have different permissions, identities, and lifecycles. And unfortunately oauth was never designed for this An agent that is only supposed to read my email must not have permission to delete my email, even if I want another agent to be able to do that within a given time frame
