@Cylights It’s how the rules work. Make 400k one year, 40k the next, and you’re eligible. Sales people can have huge swings in income. So they buy the fancy car when times are good, and then SNAP the lean years. It may not be right, but it’s not fraud.

We need to defend our nutrition programs for those most in need, not for scammers gaming the system. These individuals are taking advantage of the American taxpayer. And together with @VP’s Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, this ends NOW. 4.3M Americans have been moved off of SNAP — but more work to be done!

@barstoolsports 0.4. I mean, you can’t graduate with a 0.4 in four years. You have to fail more then half your clsses to achieve a 0.4. But to graduate, you have to pass those classes. 🤷

Two big things to consider if NCAA adopts a 5-year eligibility rule:
1) Any athlete excluded by rule can sue via antitrust law (since rule is not bargained with a union)
2) Colleges that help athletes sue aren't doing the NCAA any favors.

Those websites aren’t out evaluating talent. They’re just giving rankings based on who has expressed interest. I agree they’re crap

@EverydayCyclone Your new recruit was offered by you and San Diego St. Iowa didn’t even offer. I for one couldn’t care less about rankings, I care about which programs offered a recruit because coaches are better at this than websites.

@EverydayCyclone Not only that… they didn’t copy the uniforms— they wore them. Iowa’s 1978 uniforms were the uniforms the Steelers wore the prior year. This was a long time ago; athletic budgets weren’t anything like they are today.

@EverydayCyclone I visited the Steelers pro-shop last fall and was told Pittsburgh gave Iowa their prior-year jerseys because they were getting new ones. The people of Pittsburgh still have an affinity for the Hawkeyes because of it. So… not stolen.
