#BiharElections

पूरी रिपोर्ट पढ़ें - hindi.downtoearth.org.in/environment/ho…

Yes & also to save;
• forests cleared for expressways
• mangroves destroyed for coastal projects
• elephant corridors fragmented
• wetlands buried under concrete Wildlife suffers not because citizens forgot bowls of water.
Wildlife suffers becoz habitats r disappearing.
Narendra Modi@narendramodi

In this extreme heat, let us also remember the birds and animals around us. A small bowl of water kept outside your home, balconies, terraces, shops or offices can become a lifeline for a thirsty bird. May compassion guide us in these difficult days.

This looks straight out of hell.Every year the same story, forest fires taking a massive toll on our forest covers and Himalayas. Half the forests already snatched away by greed, the rest slowly being destroyed by these fires.

2 years after the Pune Porsche incident that killed techies Aneesh & Ashwini, here’s how the family responsible for the deaths is celebrating. ALL accused, including the shameless Agarwal family, out on bail. Zero remorse. Zero guilt. Via @ndtvindia

Who comes up with these ‘brilliant’ ideas for Delhi? Hot air balloon rides and Yamuna cruises… How much of our public money has already been wasted on such completely misplaced priorities? @gupta_rekha @LtGovDelhi
Paras.Singh@appriseParas

A cruise going nowhere Stranded in a shallow pool of water near Sonia Vihar, unable to move beyond a few hundred meters, Delhi's 'Namo Yamuna' cruise can't be launched Yamuna has largely dried up making its 5 km route unnavigable in summer. Monsoon will bring safety challenges

We erect sculptures to Mother Earth and systematically go about destroying her. The proposed flyover project around KBR Park might save a few minutes for people commuting short distances, and for that we sacrifice 1000s of trees. Mother Earth will not forgive us for our greed.

As temperatures soar past 45 degrees Celsius, and with record high night temperatures, the death till in India because of the extreme heat wave is on the rise. Worst affected are the daily wagers who do not have the option of staying indoors or air conditioned spaces. I report with comments from @anshu_seeds . Corruption is no longer in suitcases full of cash. It is now structural, institutionalized and "legal". That is why most Indians fail to see it. #NewIndia #corruption

Imagine, if this is the condition in such posh areas, who will listen to those neighbourhoods where sewage overflows onto the streets after even a little rain? My friend Sharad Sharma reported in January on the dire situation in Delhi’s Kirari area, where poor drainage causes severe problems even without rainfall. @sharadsharma1

What’s even the point of vacations if you’re stuck in 10 km traffic jams for hours? Really sad to see Himachal like this now. To people connected with me on X, honest advice, wait a few days before planning trips. Right now it feels more like torture than a holiday. Always felt this happened because governments only promoted 2 or 3 spots while ignoring so many other beautiful areas. Now locals are stuck in jams, tourists are stuck in jams and these places have become more commercial than peaceful. 📍Manali

Local taxi cab drivers are honestly the worst when it comes to following rules , Visit Atal Tunnel or any other spot once, everyone will be standing in line and they’ll be the first ones breaking it, then others start following too. Imagine if it was tourist vehicle how much we would have raged and if you call them out get ready to face united rage !
