This PGA might be Kerry Haigh’s opus. Aside from a couple of pins on Friday, he didn’t do anything audacious. Just let the course be the course and the weather be the weather. Tuned out the noise, didn’t overreact to criticism. Now it’s Sunday, the leaderboard is bunched (which, remember, Haigh likes), the guys are making some birdies, and a number of big names are in the mix. And we’ll never, ever hear him explain with any satisfying level of insight how he does it.
