Gender critical women are rarely gender non conforming that I can see. Most seem to be more gender conforming than average. But if you are apparently that's why people call you ugly according to this person.

@speakoutsister That’s not why women are upset. Gender critical woman are often gender non conforming, hence often being described as ugly. This man is performing a deeply insulting caricature. If you can’t see that you haven’t really thought about it.

@crk_le @speakoutsister Rich people live in houses whether their kids go to private schools or not. This isn’t relevant. Nor is it relevant to the actual point under discussion, which is that average families aren’t sending their children to private school, because they can’t afford it.

@crk_le @speakoutsister … okay? Publicly funded - not free - schools in the UK are supposed to be accessible for all. They pay tax; their children go to school. Why would it be better for them to be segregated off where they can feel superior, instead of going to school with everyone else?

@crk_le @speakoutsister 5-10k a year is not what most of them are charging, which means it isn’t what most families are paying, and even so 5-10k is not an additional expense achievable for the average British family. So, again, average British families are not sending their kids to private schools.

@shadowspinner @speakoutsister There are school charging 5-10k a year and many families who could but choose instead to take a £100k per child gift from the taxpayer

I hope that anyone who has heard of Jean Charles de Menezes, or Cherry Groce, or all the others will realise the Met Police killing innocent people isn't new. So yes they can and should be held to account. No matter who they are arresting or what they are suspected of.

@speakoutsister And here I thought that the one issue Phillips was reliably good on was violence against women. More fool me, I suppose.

@speakoutsister That isnt true. Many private schools fees are well below what you imagine and the sector is full of very normal people who sacrifice in other areas to manage them

@emma_j_saunders @speakoutsister It's a kink and he gets a kick out of people seeing him like that. Totally fine in a social setting with people who are into that sort of thing. In an educational setting? More red flags than Stalin's funeral.

Gender criticals are upset because a lecturer at Oxford university is wearing prosthetic breasts and has a beard. They are claiming it is sexual harassment which is a dangerous road to go down since sone men will then claim any woman not dressed in a burka is harassing them

@AngryEddie1 @speakoutsister I don’t think we should be throwing out the people on the margins to protect those who conform the most, personally. However “damaging” they might be to conformity.

@speakoutsister I fully support trans rights but feel that things like this are damaging to everyday trans people. There is nothing wrong with it, c1s women with PCOS sometimes grow beards but in the current climate this lecturer is just providing ammo against trans people.

@speakoutsister I have never encountered any gender critical person who thinks those things. I don't think you have either.

How radicalisation works In 2020 most "gender criticals" said that they respected trans people they were just concerned about single sex spaces In 2026 they think trans people should be banned from jobs, they're all perverts and all legal protection should be be removed.

@notellmemore @s7c20 @speakoutsister I am again going to strongly suggest that you stop acting like it’s completely absurd and gross to possess breasts that are well within the capacity of a woman to grow them her very own self with her very own hormones. Speaking of misogyny, that’s some pretty strong stuff.

@notellmemore @speakoutsister Women are not a hivemind. We don’t all agree with you - you’re responding to a woman - and we don’t all have the same opinions. Wearing a dress that shows cleavage isn’t a “deeply insulting caricature”.

@notellmemore @TheatreSpoonie @speakoutsister Gender critical women also regularly hold up Caster Semenya’s wife and manner of dress as (wrong) evidence she isn’t a woman, which she very much is, since obviously a woman wouldn’t be romantically interested in women and wouldn’t wear shirts and slacks. Again: Yes. They do.

@notellmemore @ThomasJPinkCain @TheatreSpoonie @speakoutsister Then you should read the article, and stop imagining that people on your side are perfect angels. It’s really quite nice to gender criticals, even. It doesn’t mention that GCs have a very nasty habit of telling women who disagree with them that they hoped we get raped.

@notellmemore @speakoutsister I very much do not think we should be policing breast size or facial hair, and if we were to do so that would be far more misogynistic, and hurt far more women, than merely possessing them could ever be.

@notellmemore @speakoutsister Sorry, to be clear, are you suggesting that possessing breasts that look proportionately equivalent to my own is “misogynistic”? Are you saying that having facial hair and breasts at the same time is “misogynistic”? These are attributes AFAB people also have.
