New Eagles edge-rusher Jonathan Greenard is prioritizing championships over personal stats. The standard is different in Philadelphia, and Greenard and QB Jalen Hurts have already spoken about winning a championship together. theeagleswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/n…

I hate child-castrator Charlize Theron with the fiery heat of a thousand suns, but I still hit play on Netflix' "Apex." Big mistake. It's just 1994's "The River Wild," if it was rewritten by a women’s studies major who really, really hates men. Literally the first thing the movie does is have Charlize kill her husband (Eric Bana) in a climbing accident that she causes. Let that sink in: 9 minutes in and they fridged the only other male lead just so she could get her “agency” back. Five years later, she’s a strong independent woman "who don't need no man," so naturally she goes hiking alone in a state park famous for people disappearing. When two burly “toxic males” get fresh with her in a supply store, another guy steps in to help. Her response: “You didn’t need to.” See, she don’t need no man. She then goes camping by herself at night - and right behind her come the toxic hunters from the store But because this is a female empowerment movie, nothing bad happens to her. Then PLOT TWIST: the good guy who helped her at the store is a serial killer who hunts campers and eats them. You can all guess what happens next. "Apex" isn’t a thriller. It’s a 93-minute excuse for Charlize Theron to once again prove she's stronger and tougher than men. That's why I was rooting for the serial killer from minute one.

Makai Lemon’s receiving line for next season is set at 650.5 yards. Will he go over or under? 🤔

@LBelvey @EliotShorrParks He sucks. Has all the talent in the world and can't get it done or stay healthy. Would rather shoot 3's then post up and dominate

@shafbag @EliotShorrParks That makes no sense, when he is healthy he is a top 5 player without question... the young guys cant carry the team and YOU need a a center.. just have to get some chemistry and things will move ... Boston has chemistry

@shafbag @Timcast That talent is contrary to the brand they have spent so much time and money establishing and if you are going to invert the whole premise of a book then it being famous is a detriment.

@shafbag @EliotShorrParks Name one player that was on his team that did anything since they left? This isn't a Embid problem, its organization issue and this coach is a dope ... tell me you watch and dont see this coach isn't Glen Rivers 2.0

@shafbag @EliotShorrParks Gthoh he may be injured a lot but you cant question his toughness and the rest of the team didn't show and for everyone franchise player Maxey laid a straight dud Embid was the only one to show up ... and yes he just came off a surgery and played better than all of his teammates

Counterpoint: the Eagles have zero incentive to move A.J. Brown. It’s going to cost them SIGNIFICANTLY more to move him than it would be to simply keep him, unhappy or not. So the thought that Howie Roseman would move him for anything other than a “heavy price” is delusional.
Carlos A. Lopez@LosTalksPats

.@MikeReiss’ thoughts on the eventual #Patriots trade for AJ Brown: “… it's hard to imagine the Patriots paying such a heavy price for Brown… in part because they don't seem to be competing against another suitor and the 2027 draft projects to be much stronger than 2026.”

Jalen Hurts has had 11 OC’s the last 11 years of his football career. That’s really hard to deal with. Whenever he’s had a good OC, he’s had success. In high on Sean Mannion. Kevin Patullo was not cut out for the job. I think Jalen needs to be challenged, willing to go outside of his comfort zone and get back to using his legs a little more.
Mister@papasorrel

@Chase_Senior @JeffNadu Do you believe that Jalen Hurts will stop being a company guy, take control of a playbook that showcases his strengths and get back in the MVP conversation, similar to his time with Shane Steichen?

Enjoyed APEX (Netflix). Plays out like Lara Croft (Charlize Theron) being hunted by Wolf Creek's Mick Taylor (Taron Egerton). Simple. Primal. Entertaining. More of a horror movie than I expected in some parts. Movies like this used to make money in theaters, kids!
