There has not been one word from Mayor Mamdani about the violence and rioting related to the Knicks games over the last few days. Not one word.
He doesn't care. This is no big deal to him.
Instead, he's tweeted to promote the DSA.
Criminals notice when there is no authority in response to lawlessness. They're receiving the message loud and clear. The mayor has their back, so they're free to go out and wreck the city.

A 17-year-old male was beaten into a coma on a Midtown Manhattan street following the Knicks’ dramatic Game 4 win, police said Friday. A group of attackers is being sought. The assault happened after the Knicks’ 107-106 victory at about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday outside the Juniper Bar on W. 35th St. near 8th Ave. — about two blocks from Madison Square Garden. Police said the victim, who lives in Connecticut, and the attackers had been celebrating the win outside the bar but began arguing after someone yelled “Spurs in 7,” a police source with knowledge of the case said. A friend of the victim’s yelled “Suck my d—!” before fists were thrown, the source said. The ensuing beatdown was recorded on a social media post. During the fight, the victim was repeatedly punched and kicked, then had a seizure. Medics rushed him in critical condition to Bellevue Hospital. @shalev3377 IMHO , Aroma is soooo much better than Starbucks .For a start it's not woke or pretentious at all , regular folk can order a meal or drink literally in seconds , because the options on offer are what REGULAR folk would choose
