@FranchiseMnA We do not use Ebitdar for valuations but it is important to use to calculate the LALR covenant as your Ebitda gets large enough. Many banks lend on the LALR at a certain size.

Why does anyone in legacy QSR think EBITDA(R) is a metric worth looking at for acquisitions? If I'm looking at an acquisition with an established location and long term lease, backing out rent doesn't make any sense Just inflates the numbers and makes me mentally have to do additional math. Talked to the owner of a local debt fund today. They just raised another $100M to allocate to construction loans because their volume is up 200% yoy, and they’re still getting to 70-80% LTC. Good business to be in these days.
