The comments on this are wild - not sure why it triggered so many people. To be clear, my kid knew what day/time his test was, but few details about the pickup situation, which the moms were discussing. Apparently, some folks feel I’m a terrible mom, from this tiny anecdote. OK!

This is a good point. In my opinion, upskilling employees to identify process improvements and then deploy agentic AI to streamline those workflows is a better ROI bet than the route of top-down (and often consultant-led) implementation.

We rebuilt our AI web QA agent.
Not because the idea was wrong, but the architecture was.
We used AI for things that should be deterministic.
Now:
- Code handles objective checks
- AI handles judgment
Much more reliable.
