Before NEET, Karnataka had an efficient and fair CET system that enabled students to enter medical education through a transparent process.
But the Modi Government imposed NEET, weakened the rights of states, and created a system that hurts poor, rural and backward students while favouring coaching centres and privilege.
This is not reform - it is injustice in the name of uniformity.

Karnataka CM @siddaramaiah reviewed Karnataka’s School Education Dept initiatives. Karnataka Public School (KPS) project to launch in Shivamogga on June 1; 800 KPS schools to be ready in 2 years, each with 1,200 students from LKG-PUC in Kannada & English medium. Proposal to fill 15,000 teacher posts to be sent. SSLC results rose to 94.10% (+14.06%), II PUC to 86.48% (+13%). 2,393 schools secured 100% SSLC results vs 766 last year. Rural students outperformed urban areas in both SSLC & PUC exams @Madhu_Bangarapp

Creating 20,000 Direct and 54,000 Indirect Employment Opportunities
Held a detailed meeting with the senior leadership of Bengaluru-based Axis Cades Aerospace Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., a leading company in the aerospace and defence sector.
The company has expressed interest in investing ₹6,000 crore in Karnataka to develop an integrated aerospace, defence, MRO, semiconductor, and AI innovation cluster across 200 acres. The project will include manufacturing, testing, maintenance, and R&D facilities, with special focus on missile systems, radar and sensor technologies, and fighter aircraft MRO.
This phased investment is expected to generate nearly 20,000 direct and 54,000 indirect jobs, further strengthening Karnataka’s position as India’s premier aerospace and defence manufacturing hub.

• ಕಳೆದ 3 ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕಗವಾಕ್ಷಿ ಅನುಮೋದನಾ ಸಮಿತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಉನ್ನತ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿಕೆ ಸಮಿತಿ ಸಭೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 1,499 ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ; ₹1,91,921.49 ಕೋಟಿ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ
