Not a single bootstrapping founder at these tech conferences as a speaker, just shows how badly bootstrapping founders are underrepresented in media and the whole ecosystem. Consequently, this also shows how fundamentally startup media coverage is broken for bootstrappers.

Unless you are already rich, Your own startup should be the best investment you’ll ever make — if it’s worth anything at all. Let other stuff go. Just put your cash into VTI/VOO. Take that one extra meeting. Push on to find that better CTO. Go visit that customer IRL. Stay.
