Hello Chicago! 💚 We're so excited to announce the launch of our FOURTH wholesale food rescue operation. We’ll be collecting fresh produce daily from the Chicago International Produce Market and delivering it to local communities that need it most.

Last week, @SharingExcess Founder @EvanEhlers gave MOFP a tour at @huntspointmkt. Sharing Excess rescues 200,000 lbs of food every week and works with community-based partners to redistribute fresh produce throughout NYC, reducing food waste and feeding New Yorkers! 🍏🌽🍅

We went #LiveintheCommunity in honor of Hunger Action Month! #TeamLivePhilly worked with @sharingexcess at the Philadelphia Wholesale Produce Market to sort and pack surplus produce to be distributed to local food banks and hundreds of community organizations. #HungerActionMonth

And as for how we got there, yes, I feel a bit inspired to give a little more because, as we tell our kids, if you put kindness into the world it will be returned❤️ thank you @mtjoyband & @sharingexcess, we felt it in tenfold last night (6/6)

The band has taken @sharingexcess, an organization that collects food in an effort to make surplus a solution to scarcity, on the road. They were collecting food before the show, so we donated and our name was put on a list to win a chance to go backstage during the show. (2/6)
