.@AngieCraigMN was the ONLY Minnesota Democrat to vote for the Laken Riley Act. The only one to vote to praise ICE. Even today, with ICE in our streets, she stands by her pro-Trump votes.

🚨BREAKING: In Minneapolis, ICE/Border Patrol agents are caught on video openly admitting they are demanding proof of citizenship from U.S. citizens, with no legal basis. In the video, an agent approaches a man who is filming and asks where he was born. The man answers, Somalia. The agent immediately responds, “Somalia? Do you have your ID on you?” The man says yes. The agent follows up by asking, “What do you have, a passport card?” … an especially revealing question, since obtaining a U.S. passport already requires proof of U.S. citizenship. When the agent asks to see it, the man pushes back, asking why. The agent’s answer is blunt and incriminating: “To verify your citizenship.” This is not routine enforcement. It is racial profiling, plain and simple. U.S. citizens are not required to carry proof of citizenship, and agents do not have the authority to demand it based solely on someone’s place of birth, accent, or appearance. This is what “papers, please” looks like in real time, and it’s exactly what this administration’s policies are enabling. Today it’s someone filming in Minneapolis. Tomorrow, it’s anyone who doesn’t look “American enough.”

Abolish ICE

Donald Trump’s disgraceful attacks on Minnesota’s Somali community are injecting more of his poisonous racism into our beloved home state. Hearing him single out our people based solely on their race and country of origin is downright disgusting.
