A recently surfaced video shows Maine Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Graham Platner with a chest tattoo of the SS Totenkopf, the skull-and-crossbones emblem used by Nazi “Death’s Head” units. @FrankSchloegel @holland_tom This is the point where one points out that the swastika is a Hindu religious symbol, and it's foolish (Tomfoolery? ;) to imply that it's a Nazi logo. It was Hindu for long millennia, after all. Love the podcast but historians can be myopic regarding current events.

@TrekingOn @RadioFreeTom My bet is that he was using voice-to-text. It's generally far worse than autocorrect. But that's the only partial excuse I'd give him. He didn't manually proof, presumably knowing that. Even if he's using a blind reader, he should have caught that.
