@pointspro I've been told by my RM and on email that renewal fee of 20k in the 2nd year is waived off for the salary route as well. So no need to maintain the 40L TRV

There are a few questions for which I wish to address:
1. Direct mutual funds doesn’t count for TRV
2. Stocks count for TRV but you can’t trade.
When I opened, I was offered ICICI trading account but now it is not possible. So you will have to keep this mind
3. For salary, it need not have corporate tie up. This corporate tie up is only for the 5% cashback offer on the debit card

🚨 Thoughts on the Premier 3.0 revaluation (and how best to get it) HSBC Premier had launched the revalued 3.0 card yesterday and here is what I think Premier is already a good offering. I use it for: ▪️ Forex - 0.99% fees with 3-6% returns (particularly useful where Olympus is excluded like cabs, tolls, metro and transportation) ▪️ Excluded categories (taxes, insurance, wallet load, etc) - till Rs 1L a month, we earn points ▪️ Reward Marketplace for flights (18-36% returns; hotels give 36-72% returns) Now after 3.0, it is good for airport transfers and Meet & Greet (other benefits are not at all counted) All this for a LTF card? 🔥 The joining fees is more than compensated by 20k points (Rs 40k value with Accor)! 🔥 Absolutely try and get it if eligible. How to get? 1. Rs 3L Salary credit to HSBC 2. Rs 40L TRV - this can be as demat holdings! 💥 I have checked with my RM and for now even demat holdings can be TRV. I myself have Premier this way. 😉 None of the above can be relaxed. And no jugaad like keeping towards end of month and withdrawing (you will be charged). DM if you want to have my RM contact.
