We did it, y’all. We passed my bill, the SUNNY Act, to bring plug-in solar to NY.
Balcony solar will reduce New Yorkers’ utility bills AND their emissions. It will dramatically expand who has access to the solar economy and strengthen the power of the renewable movement 💪🏼🌞.

Zohran’s highest approval ratings are among Black New Yorkers. The New York Times has been trying for some time now to undermine that support by publishing lies and half-truths about him. They weaponize identity politics against non-Black progressives they don’t like all the time. I hope no one falls for this, because their goal is to install a corporate sellout.

With @CMSandyNurse's COPA legislation, when many apartment buildings go up for sale, tenants and nonprofits would have a chance to buy the building before investors. I'm proud to support COPA, grateful for Councilmember Nurse's partnership, and looking forward working with City Council to pass this important bill.
