@lisalibrarian @CopyrightLibn Thanks for your interest! I mentioned the Facebook Container Extension: blog.mozilla.org/firefox/facebo…. I haven't tried it myself but I feel like these extensions are close to what is needed by a data strike, even if they are not exactly correct now.

Excited to share that "'Data Strikes': Evaluating the Effectiveness of New Forms of Collective Action Against Technology Platforms" with @bhecht and @shiladsen was accepted to @TheWebConf 2019, in SF this May. This paper simulates collective action by users against RecSys.
