Meta recently shut down Horizon Workrooms. This was supposedly the future of how people would work lol. Absurd looking back, but I still enjoy Meta's VR headsets immensely. They more or less subsidized both the hardware and software to a huge degree, so as a customer, I'm surprisingly impressed but in terms of business strategy, they likely just set huge amounts of cash on fire for marginal value.

Meta has announced it is shutting down its VR metaverse on 15th of June. All 5 users are reportedly devastated. 😏

Looks like @cluely is almost fully out of money. they have removed all affiliates other than @im_roy_lee and @neelyweely23. Those badges cost $50 a month. I think they're spending too much on engineers since most of them have the original $400k pay package. They now pay 40% less
