Ten months between these photos at work. Kinda fun to see the difference after losing 145 pounds. I started tracking what I ate again and increased protein/decreased carbs this week, and dropped seven pounds after being in a two-month stall. That's more like it! Two life goals: 1. Lose another 80 pounds or so. 2. Own clothes that aren't baggy.

@maklelan I mention Bultmann to my wife the other day. We were talking about people use academic lineage for credibility like martial arts are obsessed with their lineage. My NT prof was a famous student of Bultmann and my kung fu sifu was Yip Man’s student and I’m basic at both.

@ChrissieSeeB @coldwellbanker It's all about free speech. Johnny was free to show he was a bigot and Coldwell Banker used their free speech to tell him to eff off. Sounds like a win win.

An update: yesterday I posted about a real estate broker who had sent me an unsolicited message who identified himself as a broker at Coldwell Banker. @ColdwellBanker responded quickly and appropriately - the message didn't comply with their policies and he doesn't work there.

I'm not unaccustomed to receiving the occasional hate e-mail, but when someone is special enough that they send it from a profile that identifies their employer, I think both they and their company, @coldwellbanker, should get the publicity they apparently crave.

@_Cultch Identity labels are completely subjective. Evangelicals often claim Mormons aren't Christian and Mormons will say the Community of Christ are apostates. I know Atheists that have resigned from the LDS church that still call themselves Mormon because it's their culture.

Indeed there are consequences for making choices and thus restricting your access to certain gifts. As to auditing annually, never been audited. Again, I’ve volunteered the response

i don't believe what lds believe, but as a former jw the 'ex mormon' "identity ingroup" vicariously annoys me because i recently found out 1) it's not that restrictive to be lds, and 2) there isn't even shunning or anything weird when you leave?! acting victimized over nothing
