XP100 IS THE REAL GAME I don’t even remember when did I see 15.7 kmpl in City Morning Light Traffic I will test it further but this is straight 2-3 kmpl more than what I observed as compared to Jio’s e20 fuel. Will drive 150+ km and share numbers.

@NalinisKitchen Yesterday i drove my honda city for around 25 km top speed was 183 kmph and avrage speed was around 120 kmph ac on it gave me a milage of 11kmpl and in return i drove it it on avrage speed of 65kmph it gave 17.5 kmpl ac off

Take your vehicle to an authorized dealer and get it checked with the proper diagnostic machines. If there is a fault, your vehicle is under warranty and the manufacturer is responsible.

We are forcing some of India’s best-maintained cars into retirement based on age, not condition. A friend’s 2017 Honda WR-V diesel has clocked nearly 1 lakh km. It’s the top trim, meticulously maintained, and still drives like like new. But in a few months, it’ll be treated as if it’s unfit for the road simply because it turns 10. A poorly maintained newer car can emit more than a well-maintained older one. Age is an easy metric, but it’s not always the right one. If a vehicle passes a stringent real-world emission and fitness test, why should the calendar decide its fate? We’re talking so much about sustainability, yet we’re scrapping perfectly usable cars while the environmental cost of manufacturing replacements barely enters the conversation.

There is no other car in the market as VFM as KIA Sonet Diesel HTE-O TC Automatic at Rs 9,99,900 4 cyl, Torque rich and proper Automatic! It is so cheap that there is no harm to use this even as a city car and squeeze it to pulp. Just drive them once in a week on a highway above 60 kmph for good 30-40 min to avoid DPF issues. In this era of use and throw era of cars, such a car makes great sense for 7-8 yrs.

Finally, great relief! My neighbourhood petrol pump has started selling 100-octane premium petrol at ₹170 per litre. Yes, it’s expensive, but after my experience with E20 petrol, I am happy to pay the premium. Over the past few months, my vehicle’s mileage has dropped noticeably, despite all the assurances about E20. If a fuel costs less but also delivers significantly lower mileage, is it really cheaper? I am switching to 100-octane and will be watching the mileage and performance closely. The real test is not the price at the pump it’s the cost per kilometre.

Cars that are compatible with E20 fuel do not face any problems. Cars that are not compatible with E20 fuel may experience lower mileage. If you find water or any white substance in your fuel, it indicates fuel adulteration at the petrol pump, not a problem with E20 fuel.

My opinion on the E20 petrol issue. Most people who are facing issues are right. But here is the complete truth Water is the biggest enemy of E20 petrol. You see so many videos in which ethanol and petrol are separated; it's because of water. One of the biggest problems is the petrol pump infrastructure of our country. Most petrol pumps store petrol in underground tanks, where there is a high chance E20 petrol can come into contact with water. Especially in the monsoon season. Many bike owners face the same problem because water often gets in from the top during the monsoon and while they wash it. Also, there must be an option of pure petrol for old vehicle owners who are not compatible with E20. Another very important task must be carried out by Nitin Gadgari Ji, his son, or his family: dissolving their ethanol business, as this is not a case of corruption but a clear conflict of interest. People in India should not oppose E20 petrol, as it is not a problem in itself. On the other hand, the government must ensure that the above important steps are taken. If the government fails in the above task, it can't blame the people of this country for this issue. Later, opposition parties and others will also push disinformation to incite genuine people to the next level. People in India very well understand the importance of saving a huge amount of money from oil imports, but it's the government's duty to ensure E20 pushes only E20 vehicles and to take strict action on storage infrastructure and conflicts of interest.

@volklub Main issue now a days is moisture because of monsoon arrival and because of moisture bond between petrol and ethanol is affected & whole ethanol is converting into wateri solution at petrol pump itself this situation is happening for the first time

Ethanol wasn’t an issue till April. E20 was implemented last year itself and people moved on from it. But talks of implementation of e22 and e27 triggered the talks again and cars showing issues in the last 2-3 months caught everyone’s attention. Now, it surely has become a ‘Jin’ 🧞‍♂️ This time around, reaction & anger is 10 times more. Last time, it was burried under GST cuts.

Last post was taken down so putting it again ✅ Drive your existing petrol Car as much as possible and squeeze it to the pulp ✅ If your existing car with airbags not showing any issues, don’t upgrade to a new car ✅ Avoid deserted petrol pumps on highways and village pumps. Prefer Jio, Shell & Nayara for better pump level infrastructure. ✅ Forget about resale value in this use-and-throw era of cars ✅ Get an extended warranty on a new car and totally avoid any modifications, upgrade of tyres and alloys not to risk the warranty. ✅ Avoid using any fuel additives when car is in warranty. ✅ Keep your tank minimum 20% filled if you drive frequently. ✅ Prefer Naturally Aspirated Petrol from MS / Honda / Toyota/ Koreans as a beater in AT/AMT car and avoid spending big out of emotions.
