And judging by owner forums, this isn’t just a Honda problem—it’s showing up across brands. At this point, every tankful feels like playing Russian Roulette: Will I get 55 litres of petrol… or a ₹20,000 injector bill? Anyone else with a similar experience?

Cars that are compatible with E20 fuel do not face any problems.
Cars that are not compatible with E20 fuel may experience lower mileage.
If you find water or any white substance in your fuel, it indicates fuel adulteration at the petrol pump, not a problem with E20 fuel.

@BesuraTaansane My Honda City which is E20 compatible since 2009 I think is giving fuel efficiency of 14-15 which earlier was 20-21 on highways. Any internal wear and tear will be known next month upon service. We are being treated as guinea pigs and you seem happy about it.

Fake outrage generate karne ke enthusiasm mein he forgot that all Hyundai cars after April 2023 are fully compliant with E20
Besides this the company is covering all cars since April 2020 under warranty
If he had to sell his car in 6 months it is due to some other reason - clearly not E20

नीचे के लेयर में मिटटी होती है , उसके ऊपर कंकड़ - एग्रीगेट , उसके ऊपर फिर मोठे (बड़े साइज) के पत्थर होते हैं. उनका गैप भरा जाता है मिटटी और छोटे साइज के कंकड़ों से! उसके बाद बिटुमिन में हॉट मिक्स प्लाट के द्वारा मिक्स्ड बजरी सड़क बनाती है दूसरा तरीक है की एस्फाल्ट यानि सीमेंट की लेयर बनाकर उसके ऊपर बिटुमिन और बजरी का मिक्स डाला जाए ! नयी सड़क में मिटटी सेट होती है , खिसकती भी है ..कभी ज़मीन पर काम भी सीखो, ज्ञान ही बांटे रहोगे ?

My car used to deliver around 18 km/l on the highway, very close to the manufacturer’s claimed 19 kmpl. Some proponents of higher ethanol blending acknowledge, fuel economy can drop by 30% the economics become difficult to justify.
I am getting 11.5 kmpl now that means more than 35% drop has impacted me..
For a 100 km journey:
At 18kmpl the car consumes about 5.56 litres of fuel.
At 11.5 kmpl it consumes about 100/11.5=8.7 litres of fuel.
Now 8.7-5.5=3.2 extra litres
That’s an increase of 3.2 litres of fuel for every 100 km. At a fuel price of ₹116 per litre in M.P, that translates to an additional cost of around 3.2x116=371.2 per 100 km.
Over thousands of kilometres each year, the extra fuel expense becomes substantial.
If consumers are asked to accept:
Lower fuel economy,
Higher running costs,
Potentially higher maintenance expenses,
Reduced performance in vehicles..

well these cheerleaders don't realize that people don't oppose ethanol blend. Their only legitimate demand is don't force it (e20) on all. Give the fuel which the their vehicles need. They have paid huge GST and the road tax for 15 years, so let their vehicle last that period at least. But on this demand @nitin_gadkari paints them as anti national.
As old vehicles phase out new vehicle will anyway with to e20. But govt is hell bent on destroying e10 vehicles ( sold till 2023)

Speaking as a driver myself: I would not have been speeding on the left lane like the Scorpio did. Regardless of what the other car did or did not do - your safety is your own responsibility. Drive alert and defensive. I always drive in the middle lane if it is a 3 lane and the right most lane is only for overtaking. I never overtake on the left.

This can't be ACCEPTABLE If we are going to legalize unqualified medical practice, then why not legalize fake police officers, fake IAS officers, and fake judges as well?
