@durov @Proton_Pass E2EE in secret chats only, which almost never use. What is the secret behind not applying end to end encryption for all chats by default?

@Proton_Pass This is simply false. Telegram owns its servers, supports E2EE group video calls, allows sign-ups without a phone number, discloses only IPs & phone numbers as metadata, and is not US-based. We introduced E2EE in Secret Chats before these other apps even existed.

@align_all Going to App Store and manually updating all available updates became habit for me as well, i dunno why but i do it at least twice a week 😅

I don’t know when this became a habit, but I always read app update notes. If something new shows up, I go explore it. Small thing, big payoff. You discover features most people never notice. Highly recommend.
