Absolute bellend. If you've worked in a call centre, one would know how understaffed they usually are, with absurd demands to follow through from senior management who don't have a clue.

Heartbroken today. Stan lost his battle. For 12 years he gave us unconditional love. He was never aggressive, even with our cats and welcomed everyone with a Croc in his mouth and a furious tail wagging. We tried everything but in the end there was nothing left we could do.

Yesterday I had a wonderful send off as I transition into retirement and the role of Professor Emeritus @UCLan. Thank you to everyone for all the very kind words and recollections from the last five years. And to Chris for piping me out of the building!

Worry about only those things that you can control 😬 Worrying about what might go wrong didn’t prevent this, but a positive attitude got us though it. I can smell croissants 🥐 and coffee ☕️🇫🇷👍
