@designtako Definitely, it's interesting that this emulates the age old human dev<>designer gap, designers provide pixel perfect markup and devs want composable architecture. I'd love to see an AI tool build a durable design system
English

Tried this exact handoff yesterday. The friction isn't the tools. Claude Design outputs markup and Codex wants components. The translation layer is where the real work lives now.

Tried experimenting with a handoff from Claude design to Codex and wow throwing mocks over the wall is so back lol

quick rant about the letter c...
- in the alphabet song, it's pronounced like "si"
- as a modal verb (heyooooo), as in "i can do this", it's pronounced like "ken"
- in my name in turkish, it's pronounced like "john"
- in some languages, like italian, it's pronounced like "ch", for example in "cibatta"

@pomber @threepointone Cooool, my initial goal was to compare features across agents when building on top of agents sdks, but I love this use case! Might try to build a version of this into the site over the weekend
English

@shortdiv @threepointone codex app, for example
- computer use and the chrome plugin aren't available in the EU
- appshots isn't available on Windows
English

@pomber @threepointone Oh interesting! I haven't explored this idea, is this mainly to understand what features are available to use in the codex app or to build on the existing agent?
English

@threepointone @shortdiv niiice
i was thinking something specific to the codex app, and what features are available depending on your OS and location

💪 @SocketSecurity just raised a $60M Series C at a $1B valuation, led by @ThriveCapital.
Apparently that's worth a gong. 🔔

@Duderichy Or they just interview really well. It’s selection bias either way, It takes a certain type to stay and excel in startup land
English

the average FAANG engineer is way smarter on average than the average startup engineer
if you think it’s a professional mark of death you’re an idiot
altra@catboosted
Crazy how fast working at FAANG went from high status to professional mark of death
English

@appfactory Saaaame. It's demoralizing when the excitement you have for a thing you built isn't well received (esp on this dumb site), but I guess it's more about how you feel than about what others think.
fwiw I think machinen is super cool!

when a dude from sf moves to nyc, 99% of them will make up a reason like diversity of people but they are all lying. it’s dating. it’s always dating.

Building for AI coding agents in 2026 feels eerily like building for the web in the early aughts. Multiple vendors. No shared standards. Different implementations.
So I built caniuse for coding agents to take the guesswork out of picking one: caniuseagents.com

English

@madhyamakist Awesome, thank you for the kind feedback! And contributions are always welcome ;)
English

@shortdiv This is amazing! Thanks for sharing. As a practising coding agent-agnostic I'm definitely going to use this.
P.S. Would love to see Kilo Code in there too some day :)
