@SaulSellsStuff Power rack changed the game for me. Barbell. 240lb weight set ex curl, hex bar. 3 set of dumbbells (like 20/30/40). Dont overspend but don’t cheap out on safety. I’m pretty sure that was under $1k. Cardio equivalent ment is $$$ $2k treadmill. and a concept2 rower (my fave!)

Do I know anyone really into home gyms that can school me?
I have an empty garage and the interest in canceling my gym membership.
Currently thinking of free weights, a bench, and pull up bar. I know nothing about quality of brands, what I’m missing, what would make this actually useful, etc.
Please flex (pun intended) your knowledge on me. First time trying to get back into it since I got sick in 2024 and lost 40 pounds.

I cancelled over a year ago and love it - let me know if you need help on anything.
Here’s what I have that I need:
Power rack with bar
Plates that are 2 45s 2 35s 2 25s 2 15s 2 10s 2 5s and 2 2.5s for the bar
Bench that inclines and declines
Powerblock dumbbells that go up to 90 lbs each
Also have but not needed for my workouts
Parallette bars for pushups
Weighted vest
Rings for bodyweight
That gets me full workouts and increasing each week on multiple different variations of exercises.
I didn’t have the power blocks until recently though so even those aren’t needed

A name that Phillies fans will surely love, the Phillies just took Clemson's Drew Titsworth in the 11th round. The Phillies are clearly targeting good fastballs in this draft, and Titsworth is super projectable. Pairs his fastball with a spinny slider, could try him as a SP.

Holy cow, another huge upside swing for the Phillies in Round 5 as they select UCLA OF Will Gasparino.
Huge tool set here. Gasparino has everything: power, speed, plays a solid CF. There are some concerns surrounding his hit tool, but this is crazy value for the 5th round.

when evaluating VCs or potential employees - the single most important thing that I look for is -
does this person hold strong opinions strongly or loosely?
if presented with the right evidence, logic, data - is this person capable of swiftly changing their world view and then hold the new view strongly.
If not - likely it will not be fun being with them in the trenches for years to come.
