X has a weird problem. Everyone uses it like it matters. Advertisers still do not pay like it matters. 2025 ad revenue: - Google Ads: $294.7B - Meta Ads: $196.2B - Amazon Ads: $68.6B - TikTok Ads: ~$32.4B - X Ads: ~$2.26B That gap is the whole story. X is where markets panic, AI launches spread, crypto narratives start, and founders fight in public. The attention is already there. The ad dollars are not. So the new Ads Manager rebuild is not a small product update. It is X trying to fix the biggest leak in the business. Not guaranteed. But if X ever learns how to sell real-time conversation properly, $2.26B will look very small.

🚨 Stop using Claude Design like a toy. “make a UI” “design a page” “create a prototype” That’s beginner mode. You’re sitting on something that can replace entire design workflows. Used right, Claude Design isn’t Figma’s competitor. It’s its replacement. Here are 10 battle-tested prompts to turn Claude into a design machine:

Scaling ad spend doesn't create problems. It exposes the ones that were already there. Weak offer, underperforming product page, broken post-purchase experience. At low spend these are manageable. At scale they become expensive. Fix the foundation before you increase the budget.

@umesh_ai In the future of filmmaking, directors will dream up impossible worlds like floating houses and living skies, with AI handling the impossible so creators can focus purely on emotion, story and wonder.

The future of filmmaking isn’t about executing the vision. It’s about creating a vision worth executing! 15-second ultra-surreal dream sequence. A small old house drifts slowly through the night, carried on the back of a dark cloud above a forest. Inside and outside blend together. Wide shot: stars hang low around the roof like lanterns. Medium shot: a woman walks through the front door and enters a moonlit meadow instead of a room. Side tracking shot: a man stands by a dining table set in the grass, waiting with one candle burning blue. Close-up: when she touches the flame, it becomes a tiny glowing sun and the tableware begins orbiting gently in the air. Overhead shot: the forest below opens into a spiral pattern like a giant dream symbol. Medium shot: they sit together, but their chairs slowly drift apart across the meadow even as they keep reaching for one another. Final shot: the cloud dissolves, the house becomes a flock of white birds, and the two of them remain suspended in the dark sky under a huge pulsing moon. Tone: emotional, romantic, abstract, eerie yet serene. Made with Seedance 2 on Runway!

@shubhya22 @In4mationOverld Yes! As well as The Third Man. I personally also got very into German Expressionism, which has the earliest film gems of that technique. Man, now I want to binge all of them 😂

As a Gen X teen, the earliest movie from the 1960s that I can recall being eager to watch was Hitchcock’s ‘Psycho’. That was a game changer for me. Up until that point, I naively didn’t know that black and white films could be so enthralling. I wouldn’t appreciate older films like “Citizen Kane” and “A Streetcar Named Desire” until I was much older.

People out here acting like 80s and 90s kids regularly watched movies from the 50s and 60s.

@abubunni "It’s wild how 'universal appeal' actually ended up making movies feel more local and small. Studios have scrubbed away the specific, adult-oriented edge that made 90s cinema so iconic. We’re in the era of the 'Safe Blockbuster' and it’s exhausting."

@shubhya22 It constantly blows my mind how many great or even just good movies came out in 1999, relative to how few have come out since. That was basically the last year that Hollywood was aimed at English-speaking adults.

@avrilbradley23 @CatoInferior That's largely due to the importance of foreign box-office for Hollywood. East and South Asia, in particular, won't allow sexually suggestive content much less sex (or even kissing). That's the +ve side of the ledger, the -ve side is the end of good films and rise of capeshit
