Am I crazy in saying the beam to beam parkour flows way smoother compared to the world reveal gameplay? That little pause and adjust Edward used to do seems to be removed. I guess the reveal gameplay was an older build if that's the case because the parkour clips shown today from the article looks considerably more efficient.

Not sure where this one started, but it’s not true. The next Call of Duty is not being developed for PS4.

Ubisoft revealed the official Assassin’s Creed roadmap 4 years ago, on the 15th anniversary of the Assassin’s Creed series, announcing three new AC games (AC Hexe, AC Jade, and AC Invictus), and they still don’t have release dates today. But it’s interesting to see that the unannounced game, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, is releasing before them.

I use ChatGPT essentially as a search engine. I recently started fooling around with the image generation as some friends were goofing around with making it try to make pictures of itself. Prompt was: “Make a picture of yourself as if you worked at my company, Gearbox Software.” My friends I was with for lunch earlier produced some funny things with similar prompts for themselves and I wanted to see what bullshit it would generate as an idea of a self identity because the idea of an AI even having an identity is nonsense. The result was somehow more embarrassingly hilarious than I expected and I wanted to share that. ChatGPT has no information from me about anything from my work because I don’t use AI for work and our policy is no AI in any work that could ever be seen by any customer. I’m using my personal phone and not my work computer (which is isolated from personal systems). It got whatever it generated from whatever public knowledge of Gearbox it has access to (hence my very clear disclaimer) and the timing or content of this has exactly zero to do with whatever feelings you’ve spun yourself up about with patch notes. I’m glad you like our video games. We work hard to try to entertain you. We’re not machines. We are people. We aren’t perfect. We are messy. Especially me. Maybe relax a little and have some fun? Creating entertainment is my life mission. You are a customer, presumably, because you want to be entertained. If your idea of being entertained is to spend your time posting what you posted, you do you, I guess. Thanks for supporting our human-made entertainment, warts and all!

Believe it or not, Black Flag Resynced discourse about hidden blade combat being removed, parkour flow, modern day or whatever else is actually good for Assassin’s Creed. After the exhaustion of the AC Shadows controversy, where politics and culture wars completely drowned out any attempt of discussing the actual game itself, it's a relief to see the fandom be obsessed with mechanics again. These are exactly the kind of deep dive discussions people should be having.

@Sirnoobwulfgr Face it They were boring, tedious, and took you away from what actually wanted to do. Everyone I knew hated them when it was first released. They fact people are trying to now claim they are good is crazy.
