LET’S TALK BUSINESS: So… Why did I thumbs up this deal? It was really simple to me. You show loyalty to those who show loyalty to you. The Packers literally tried to trade back into the 1st Round in 2022 to select Christian, so they’d get the right to exercise a 5th-Year option. The Vikings denied them the trade back into Round 1, then the Pack said they’d give them the same two 2nd Round Picks (which equaled a 1st Round value) for Pick 34. All parties agree, and Christian was selected by the Pack. There have been a number of momentous occasions since then, as well as some injuries that have certainly been concerning. However, the Packers know exactly what they have in Christian, and Christian is really enamored with the culture and team of the Packers. So, what happened here today for those who still don’t get it was Christian basically allowing the Packers to exercise the 5th-Year Option on a player they were going to Draft in the 1st Round, and in whom they continue to believe, and he in them! #ThatsAllThatsIt
