I have quite an odd origin story for being an Anglophile, which is that I first fell in love with British cooking. I had heard so often the stereotype of it being terrible, so I went to an English pub and actually tried the stuff. I found it phenomenal and fitting to my palette. It really is quite great. Bangers and mash, beef Wellington, shepherds pie, meat pies, yes even things like beans on toast are all great, hearty food that is honestly my favorite cuisine. My favorite breakfast of all is a full English, with black pudding and all, alongside a cup of English breakfast tea with a splash of milk. I am actually of the belief that this particular stereotype was actually crafted specifically to facilitate mass replacement migration, to build false pretenses that the native ethnic foods and culture of European peoples were simply inferior to nons, when that could not be further from the truth.

Have you ever woken up at around 3 am to the sound of a bullet ricocheting off your bedroom window's burglar bars, realizing in that instant that you are being shot at while asleep in your own bed? Have you ever leopard-crawled across the floor, phone in hand, desperately searching for your little children, only to meet them in the passage, lying flat on their bellies? The terror etched on their faces. Their small hands shaking as they covered their ears while bullets shattered windows and punched holes through the walls around you. Have you ever looked into your eight-year-old daughter’s eyes, knowing exactly what unspeakable horrors would await her if they gained entry? Then turned to your ten-year-old son, your mind flooded with the same dread for what they would do to him? Have you ever lain there in the darkness, your husband’s weapon now empty, silently praying that the next bullet does not find him? And just when you believe this is the end, the neighborhood watch arrives? In the nick of time. This is what we lived. And what our people still live. For no reason. Nothing of value to steal. Just because we are White.

@feofanov моя найденная на дороге букашка в детстве тоже вытаскивала куски еды из миски (правда, chunks – паштет она никогда не любила), но потом выросла из этого

Housewives on the 50s were only on those meds because the doctors were insane, not because they were genuinely that depressed. It's like being in the 2070s and looking back at the opioid epidemic and going "wow I guess people in the 2000s were just in pain all the time"

Instead of posting photographs of the Romanovs and saying ‘this is terrible’ or ‘never forget what the Bolsheviks did’ - we should analyze why the Bolsheviks were able to gain a foothold at all and kill the Romanovs - who were basically worthless. Because we are drifting towards staggering disparities that will be ripe ground for the same kind of animals as Lenin and Trotsky and the entire gang. Romanticizing the people too stupid to head it all off - that’s just whistling past the graveyard.

The WW2/Holocaust narrative as we know it is much more recent than people realize. In the 40s and 50s, people basically talked about the war as a terrible, regrettable thing that had happened. It wasn't until the 70s/80s that the narrative we know today was aggressively pushed.

Betty Friedan misrepresented the results of her 1957 survey of her Smith classmates. “Most of those who responded found their marriages satisfying and claimed to be experiencing the best time of their lives.”

You have every right to know what your government is doing, and they have no right to know what you are doing. That is why they are called public servants and we are called private citizens. Instead, the relationship has been inverted. The state hides behind secrecy, classified files, and redactions while demanding total visibility into your finances, communications, movement, and behavior. A society where the rulers live in privacy while the population lives under surveillance is the very definition of tyranny.
