Imo this unironically a game changer for intermediary ai-mind melt (before BCI). We talk and we point at things, we can now do both in the digital world. PC has an advantage over mobile imo

Frog put the shares in an SPV. “There,” he said. “Now we can transfer these shares freely” “But Anthropic can still exercise its transfer restrictions” said Toad. “That is true,” said Frog.

I am surprised more people are not paying attention to this update from Anthropic on its stock policy. This seems like a potential bombshell. There is an active secondary market purportedly in Anthropic stock or derivatives including on fairly reputable (or at least well-known) platforms like Forge. Anthropic is calling them out *specifically*, by name, and essentially *saying* 100% of these are illegal. Some may be frauds (people selling Anthropic stock or interests in Anthropic stock that they don't truly own), but more likely many are legit attempts at transferring Anthropic equity (directly, as SPV shares, or as some type of 'beneficial interest' or future, etc.) Anthropic appears to be saying it will treat all these transfers as void. I don't have access to their terms, but it's very interesting to think what this could mean. Do the 'first purported sellers' in the chain potentially have an opportunity to do a double-dip? Does the first seller and all downstream buyers get the entire entitlement nuked? Anthropic is threatening that--are they just bluffing? If they're not bluffing, what litigation is likely to ensue? This can get into really esoteric areas of corporate law that depend on exactly how the transfer restrictions are drafted as well as the language around how violations of transfer restrictions are treated--for example, if they are merely voidABLE then downstream buyers can assert various equitable claims/defenses, but if they are VOID ab initio then in some jurisdictions that forecloses equitable defenses.

There are many jobs people fear AI will take. Scrubbing toilets is not one I feel compelled to defend. That is what struck me about the Zerith H1. It is a wheeled humanoid robot designed to clean hotel bathrooms and public spaces, handling the kind of work most people are happy to avoid: toilets, showers, sinks, floors, restocking. And honestly, this is one of the clearest examples of where robotics makes immediate sense. Because this is not glamorous work. It is repetitive. It is physically exhausting. It is chemical-heavy. And in many places, it is hard to staff consistently even though it is essential for everyone’s comfort. That is why I think this matters. If robots can take over the most draining, unpleasant, and low-value parts of these jobs, the real opportunity is not just efficiency. It is dignity. It is the chance to move people away from the most punishing tasks and into roles that are safer, more stable, and more human. → less physical strain → less exposure to harsh chemicals → more consistency in essential services → more room for people to do work where judgment and care matter more To me, this is one of the few areas where the AI debate becomes refreshingly clear. Not every job should be handed to a machine. But some tasks probably should. And toilet cleaning is making a very strong case. Is this the kind of job robots should take first? #AI #Robotics #Automation #FutureOfWork #Innovation #Hospitality #Technology #SmartCleaning #HumanoidRobots

Yesterday, the DOJ made a press release confirming a coordinated crackdown against a massive Southeast Asian scam compound Two Chinese nationals ran a forced-labor fraud factory in Myanmar called the Shunda compound. Trafficked workers, beaten and held against their will, were forced to run cryptocurrency investment and romance scams targeting Americans. One worker's team stole 3 million dollars from a single victim. When a militia seized the compound in late 2025, the FBI flew to Thailand, reviewed over 1,300 desktop computers and thousands of phones, and interviewed former workers. They tracked the two managers to Cambodia, where they tried to keep operating, then arrested them in Thailand on immigration charges. They are now facing federal wire fraud conspiracy charges in the US. Separately, the Feds seized a Telegram channel with around 6,000 members that was recruiting English speakers with American accents for fake jobs in Cambodia. Once there, workers were held against their will and forced to impersonate JPMorgan Chase, customer service reps, and NYPD detectives over WhatsApp and Microsoft Teams, telling victims their bank accounts were used to buy illegal firearms, then draining their savings. The Strike Force also seized 503 fake crypto investment websites in a single operation, seized over 700 million dollars in cryptocurrency tied to money laundering, and sanctioned Cambodian officials linked to scam center operations.

@bright_125 @inversebrah The hardest part is getting to the first interview call. If you manage that, people get a chance to see who you are, how you vibe etc. I face the same issue, worked US based hours over last 4 years no problem, but the initial filter is rough.
