JUST FOR THE RECORDs: If the late President Buhari, an Ex Military General, not just a Northerner but a Fulani man with 12 Million strong support base couldn’t fix Arewa insecurity once and for all, then nobody in Nigeria can fix Arewa insecurity. Buhari didn’t just have the state power in his hands. He had the goodwill of all the Sheiks, Imams and the Ulamas of Arewa. He could command all the Fulani Bandits (His Siblings as said by NSA Nuhu Ribadu) commanders to submit their arms and promise to rehabilitate them or put them on salary and they would comply. Anything that Buhari couldn’t fix in Arewa, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu shouldn’t be expected to fix it. Anytime Arewa are ready for progress, they will declare a Fatwa against all the Terrorists and Bandits themselves. For now, make we pretend like say Arewa cares about development more than religion.

OPERATION HADIN KAI DEBUNKS FALSE CLAIMS ON BENISHEIKH INCIDENT, REAFFIRMS PROFESSIONALISM AND OPERATIONAL SUPERIORITY The Headquarters Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) has noted with serious concern the circulation of false, misleading and highly exaggerated reports across some television stations and social media platforms following the recent foiled terrorist attack on troops’ location in Benisheikh. These narratives, often amplified with unrelated pictures and videos, are not only inaccurate but constitute a deliberate attempt to distort facts, undermine ongoing military operations and erode public confidence. OPHK categorically refutes the claim that 17 soldiers, including a Brigade Commander, lost their lives during the incident. The official and verified report, as earlier released through Defence Headquarters, clearly stated that 2 officers and 2 soldiers paid the supreme price in the course of the engagement. Any contrary figure being circulated is entirely false, misleading, and devoid of credibility. The insinuation that the Brigade Commander’s vehicle was unserviceable is equally incorrect. The Commander was mounted on a high-grade Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle, which was temporarily immobilised in the heat of combat while he was actively coordinating the counter-assault. This reflects the intensity of the engagement and the presence of leadership at the decisive point, not any equipment failure. Furthermore, the pictures and videos being circulated in connection with the incident are unrelated to the Benisheikh attack and are being deliberately misrepresented to reinforce false narratives. The public is urged to disregard such content, which is clearly intended to misinform and create unnecessary panic. The Nigerian military strongly frowns at the distortion of operational facts and the use of such unfortunate incident for personal/political gains or propaganda. Such actions not only mislead the public but also diminish the sacrifices, courage, and professionalism of officers and men who continue to risk their lives daily in the defence of the nation. The Armed Forces of Nigeria remains professional and committed solely to their constitutional mandate. It is pertinent to reiterate that troops of Operation HADIN KAI successfully repelled the attack, maintained control of their location, and forced the terrorists into a disorganised retreat. The failed assault underscores the sustained pressure on terrorist elements and the growing combat effectiveness of troops across the Theatre. The military remains the only credible source of verified information on its operations and will continue to provide timely and accurate updates through official channels. Members of the public are therefore advised to rely on such sources and refrain from spreading unverified information. I have a script for you @KevinblakC. There is a certain state where the governor is currently being packaged as a future presidential candidate. Meanwhile, behind the scene, the governor recently budgeted over 250million for the procurement of printers when they couldn’t even procure a single fire fighter truck in case of such emergencies. Before you know it, one mad fire incidence occurred with lives and properties lost yet, the governor is still being packaged on social media as the best in the country. Good story line and I sure say you go like am. LET’S SEE THE EDIT!!!

Nobody should have to travel miles just to see a doctor. For too long, many communities have lived with that frustration, where basic healthcare felt out of reach. We are changing that by building 260 Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres (PHC) across Enugu, ensuring every ward has a modern health facility close to home, FREE OF CHARGE for our people, and supported by a digital system that keeps patient records safe and accessible. Each centre will run with 24-hour solar power and running water, with 3,380 beds across the state, at least 13 per facility. To support our frontline workers, 2-bedroom apartments are being built at every PHC, because when healthcare workers are well supported, patients receive better care. The goal is to have everything operational by the end of May. Ndi Enugu, we are closing the gap in healthcare accessibility. Tomorrow is here.

I was sexually assaulted today inside the bus by an unknown lady. We all know how commercial buses can be, a bit tight and uncomfortable. So there I was, sitting beside this young lady and because the bus was tight, our bodies were brushing off on each other.. At some point I felt her boobs rubbing off the back of my arm, I didn’t really read any meaning to it cos these things can mistakenly happen when you are in a tight space with someone like that. But it started feeling like the boobs were consciously touching my arm. Not long after that I started feeling her breathe a little harder and each time I try to move my arm away from her boobs, she leans forward for them to continue making contact. She started moving funny in a non-noticeable sexual way. I felt so uncomfortable but I just didn’t wanna make a scene. It went on for a while till I was forced to get down at somewhere that wasn’t even my bus stop. I just can’t stop shaking. I feel violated and when I close my eyes the whole scenario just plays at the back of my head. I think I’ll need therapy.

STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU: The Fallen Soldiers in Benisheikh Are Our Unforgettable Heroes—Urges Nigerians and media  to Stand with the Military President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep sadness over the loss of the brave soldiers of the 29 Task Force Brigade, Operation HADIN KAI, who died in a coordinated terrorist attack on their camp in Benisheikh, Borno State. The President also expressed heartfelt condolences to the military and the families of the soldiers, urging them to take heart in the face of the unfortunate loss. The Defence Headquarters confirmed the attack and the tragic loss of lives, which occurred early Thursday, April 9, 2026.  President Tinubu praised the courage and heroism of the soldiers who fought valiantly to repel the terrorists and ensure that Boko Haram could not overrun the communities the soldiers protect. While mourning the death of the gallant soldiers, President Tinubu urged the leadership of the Armed Forces and all soldiers on the frontline not to be discouraged, but to draw strength from the nation’s deep appreciation for their sacrifices. “From the reports I have received, our armed forces have been conducting sustained, intense land and air offensives against the insurgents, neutralising many of their fighters and commanders. The insurgents’ counterattack is a sign of desperation. “I extend my condolences to the families of our gallant soldiers, led by Brigadier-General Oseni Omoh Braimah, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the defence of our country today in Borno State. The government will never forget their sacrifices. Their sacrifices will not be in vain. Because of the courage and dedication of our troops on the frontline, our resolve to defeat terrorism and all forms of violence across Nigeria is stronger than ever. “I urge the Military High Command and our troops in all theatres of operation: Do not lose heart, do not be weary, do not be discouraged. Our officers and men should continue to serve with honour, courage, and patriotism. The government will always stand by the Armed Forces, provide more of the equipment needed and ensure the welfare of all who risk their lives for our safety. “I urge Nigerians and the media to continue to support our Military in their relentless battle against insurgency and banditry. We should desist from celebrating or condoning the attacks against our troops. These soldiers are our heroes; unforgettable and irreplaceable. "My condolences also go to the government and people of Borno State. The Federal Government will continue to work with the state government to achieve total victory and lasting peace.  Bayo Onanuga  Special Adviser to the President  (Information and Strategy) April 9, 2026

Today in Abuja, I attended the national convening and launch of the report, “Strengthening the Nexus between Democracy and Economic Growth in Nigeria,” a study by the Goodluck Jonathan Foundation supported by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). The findings challenge us to rethink old assumptions, strengthen institutions, and align democratic processes with sound economic policies. Our path forward is not a choice between democracy and development; they must be mutually reinforcing. A strong democracy must create the conditions for growth, just as inclusive growth must sustain democracy. This is the vision we must pursue at this stage of our national journey. My thanks to senior government officials, development partners, guests and participants for your presence and shared commitment to Nigeria’s progress. -GEJ

In Military School, many of us wanted to finish and join the Army in NDA. We loved army job as we always refer to it as "Rugged Job" We believe they are very gallant, rugged and good-to-go. We felt Airforce was too gentle and army was more rugged to get the job done. Unfortunately, my once beloved Army job, which used to be a rugged job and now become a WAWA JOB. It has become so compromised and incompetent that all you get is lies and propaganda every time. APC Government gave finished and relegated this once outstanding force. Generals are being slaughtered like goats. Personnels, who joined the job for the love of it are continually being slaughtered by terrorists. No motivation, no adequate resources, no juicy compensation to the families of brave troops who die in service, many of them are Jihadists and terrorists sympathisers. While a counter assault should follow those bastards do they'd know the crime of killing generals, the @HQNigerianArmy big boys will come to tell us that Boko Haram, Fulani Jihadists terrorists are their brothers and family members and should be romanced instead of raining fire on them. Oh, Army Job, how are thou fallen! APC Government destroyed the Nigerian Army. Buhari, you shall forever rot in hell!!!

DHQ PRESS RELEASE TROOPS OF OPERATION HADIN KAI SUCCESSFULLY REPEL TERRORIST ATTACK IN BENISHEIKH In continuation of the Armed Forces of Nigeria’s (AFN) counter terrorism efforts, troops of the 29 Task Force Brigade in Operation HADIN KAI came under a coordinated terrorist attack on their location at the Brigade Headquarters in Benisheikh, Borno State. The attack occurred at approximately 0030hrs (12:30am) on Thursday, 9 April 2026, as insurgents attempted to breach the defensive perimeter of the military installation. However, the troops, led by the Commander 29 Brigade, Brigadier General Oseni Braimah, responded with exceptional courage, professionalism, and superior firepower. In a well-coordinated counteraction, the insurgents were decisively engaged and forced to retreat in disarray, abandoning their mission and leaving behind traces of their failed assault. This attack is a clear indication of the desperation of terrorist elements who, having suffered significant losses in recent operations, continue to resort to futile and ill-fated offensives against well-defended military positions. The swift and decisive response by troops underscores the high level of combat readiness, resilience, and operational effectiveness of Operation HADIN KAI in safeguarding critical locations and maintaining pressure on terrorist groups across the North-East theatre. Regrettably, the encounter resulted in the loss of a few brave and gallant soldiers who paid the supreme price in the line of duty. The Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Olatunbosun Oluyede, honours their heroism, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to the defence of the nation. Their courage will forever remain a source of pride and inspiration to the Armed Forces of Nigeria and the entire nation. The High Command extends its deepest condolences to their families and loved ones. In line with established military tradition and respect for the fallen, the general public and media are kindly requested to allow the Armed Forces to formally notify the next of kin before the release of further details. The public is also urged to disregard misinformation, sensational reports, and unverified content circulating across social media platforms, as these undermine ongoing operations and national security efforts. The Armed Forces of Nigeria, in collaboration with other security agencies and stakeholders, remain resolute and undeterred in the ongoing fight against terrorism and insurgency. Additional clearance and exploitation operations are ongoing in the general area to track and neutralize fleeing insurgents, as well as to deny them any opportunity to regroup. The Chief of Defence Staff, commends the bravery, discipline, and steadfastness of the troops, whose sacrifices continue to ensure the safety, stability, and sovereignty of Nigeria. Their dedication in one of the most challenging operational environments reaffirms the Armed Forces’ commitment to restoring lasting peace in the North-East and across the country. The general public is encouraged to continue supporting the Armed Forces through timely and credible information that can aid ongoing operations. Citizens are urged to remain calm, vigilant, and law-abiding as security forces sustain momentum in ongoing operations. Further updates will be provided as necessary. I'm not sure where people get the impression that manufactured insecurity in Nigeria is "sabotaging" Tinubu’s government. Did Tinubu tell you that a safe and secure Nigeria is part of his agenda? Someone that is a stage actor placed in that seat by his US benefactors to be part of their Kabuki dance as they destroy whatever is left of Nigerian sovereignty? I think people need to consult history and read about Mobutu Sese Seko. DRC was one of the worst governed, most unsafe, least stable countries in the world under him and the CIA backed him for 32 years. It's not the CIA's business whether its puppet governs a country well or not - in fact the worse its puppet governs, the better for its interests. The most important thing you need to understand about US foreign policy as an African is that your life isn't just unimportant, but not even a factor at all. "Africa" according to the white people who rule the world, is not a place where 1.4 billion people live, but a stretch of resource-rich land where resources are to be extracted cheaply. Whatever happens to you in the process of that extraction is not the US government's problem, and you need to understand that. Back when the primary resource extracted from Nigeria was oil, the manufactured insecurity centred around oil installations, and all it did was keep the surrounding areas poor and unsafe, so that at no point was there ever a serious conversation about the effects of oil extraction on those communities. Eventually the American and European oil extraction entities realised that offshore was the real game and they diverted altogether from onshore extraction. Now their offshore operations have little or no interaction with Nigeria, and they are protected by American and Israeli security. Your "navy" and "NIMASA" are basically controlled by Israeli contractors, FYI. Now that attention has shifted to solid minerals in the middle belt and North, the manufactured violence has mysteriously exploded there. Its only purpose is to depopulate the region and make it available for mining - Sen Riley Moore's recent 'recommendation' explicitly mentioned "cooperation with US mining interests" as a precondition for peace in case you've forgotten. Tinubu's role is to watch it happen, release a mealy mouthed statement, and do nothing. That's why they put him there. I know it might be hard for you to process, but to understand how the world works, you need to understand that the lives of 230 million Nigerians were never a factor in the decision to impose a puppet president from Washington DC. As far as the decision makers are concerned, this land that contains your ancestors and your childhood memories and everything you hold dear and precious, is just an entry on a spreadsheet titled "Rare Earth Mineral Locations." They see your entire continent and its 1.4 billion inhabitants the way you see a farm you bought that has anthills on it. Your interest is in what you can get from the soil, not with the billions of ants who call that place home. Unlike during direct colonialism, you can't just roll in the bulldozer and destroy the anthills, so you find some of the ants who are willing to work for you, and you get them to destroy their own anthills. You deploy an orange beret "Revolution Now" ant leader to misdirect and mislead any ants that want to organise a resistance against you. You deploy "civil society" ants to convince the 1.4 billion ants that what they need is "democracy" instead of organised resistance and obtaining the industrial means to resist. You deploy electoral candidate ants to waste ant resources and destroy, institutions and subvert ant society. You deploy religious ant leaders to teach the ants to pray for individual salvation instead of carry out group resistance. And then you give the bulldozer to Boko Haram/JNIM/ISWAP/RSF ants to physically destroy the anthills, so the ants blame themselves for their own destruction. Then the farm is yours.
