For years I've been doing this manually for each logo project. Start with an Illustrator file with all my favourite fonts ready to be replaced with the brand name. Or taking a screenshot of the logomark and scrolling through google fonts with the screenshot placed next to the type... Now, @joshpuckett has saved me, and every other designer, hours on each project by creating a tool called Locale. Insane work

We’re close… but not “no Figma” close yet.

Current best workflow still feels like: Figma → MCP → Cursor/Claude If your components + styles are well named, AI actually translates them surprisingly well!

Just tried @pencildev inside @cursor_ai. What I actually want to replace Figma: From my branch in Cursor, I want to render an exact screen or section on a canvas using the real styles and components from the codebase, freely play around with it, and once I’m happy, ask agent to build it and commit the changes. That’s the dream right now.

@martinrariga Love small tools like this, great work, @martinrariga 👏 I use the Control (⌃) + Command (⌘) + Space shortcut. It works well for me since I don’t have to take my hands off the keyboard.

Just shipped a new tiny project: Emojibar. 🚀 It’s a super simple Mac menubar app that lets you find and copy emojis in one click. I was tired of opening Messages just to grab an emoji from the picker… so I built this over the weekend with Xcode + Claude. Link below!
