I'm heartbroken to share the news that we lost our beautiful Laura in the early hours of this morning. She was fierce & tenacious to the end & it was truly the honour of my life to be her mum. We are devastated at the thought of life without our girl, she was a force of nature💔

Mark & I are settling down for another night beside Laura’s bed, waking at every whimper & not knowing if she’ll still be with us in the morning. It’s been 11 days now without food or water & every day we think she can’t get any more poorly, but she does. This is so brutal

It’s so hard to watch my lovely bright girl fade away completely. She still breathes but even the hand squeeze has gone now. Her life force is so strong but this is unbearable to watch. I’m scared that all my happy memories have been replaced by the trauma of the last few weeks

@HM_Passport we have been waiting for a call from the upgrade team since Thursday we fly in 5 days! Every member of your team gives us different information! Please can someone call me urgently!

@EloiseBolger @NikolaCarr11 @HM_Passport Yeah defo got mines in the Friday before my flight was the Tuesday the day after the bank holiday. They called me about 12ish and I pick it up from my local office after 4pm the same day.

@ZoeyFry4 @x_SReynolds @Carter0Brandon @HM_Passport You need to find out where it is and send an email to the upgrade team there but they will only deal with it 14 days before you fly and all paper work has been at their office for 5days or more x

I’ve contacted mine too, but the response back was they are having the same difficulty talking to someone! My application has been in 10 weeks. We fly 3 weeks today! Sent mine off with my daughters but I have that one back!

@simpson24_fiona @CourtneySavill3 @JennyMathieson @IwanOwen3 @HM_Passport I was at glasgow today, they had lost my marriage certificate for a 2nd time and never told us even though the application says documents recieved🤣 away back home to get another new certificate and away back up to be told we would be phoned. The guy that helped us was brilliant.

@HM_Passport My holiday is in ruin because your upgrade team think a call back within 48hours takes over 7days and counting! How can a passport with all the relevant documents be sat for 5 weeks untouched!? When other applications are flying through no problems!?

@HM_Passport I am still waiting on a phone call back from the Durham upgrade team, I travel on the 15th. I am running out of time. Please get someone this out. This is unacceptable
