But Indians are equally free to remember that in 1971, Indian soldiers died in thousands so Bangladesh could break away from the same Pakistani establishment it is now rediscovering. That memory cannot be outsourced to diplomatic convenience or social media nostalgia. The interesting part is not Bangladesh engaging Pakistan.
