Coming back to the python/flask ecosystem is such a "back home" feel after being on the javascript rollercoaster. No breaking changes, No footguns. Simple, idiomatic, server side rendered templates.

I need to restart my Twitter. I went and followed too many indie hackers and 'bootstrapers' and now my feed is just MRR's and self promotional bs. Its like going to a fish market to browse but instead you get an update from every vendor about how much money they're making and how good business is.

@ravinwashere I agree. Simple and pencil on paper is magic. Online note taking uis useful if and when you want to publish your work to the interwebs.

Most people waste their time organizing notes, setting up configurations and workflows, messing around with plugins, and switching to-do apps. They're just avoiding the real work that needs to be done. Back in the day, 10-12 years ago, nobody stressed about notes, APIs, or workflows. They just had a simple paper notebook, maybe two at most. That was it.

@superamit Checkout out relentless.so. It's designed for sharing notes and documents with others. Not specific for to-do lists but makes collaborative part fun.

I want a collaborative to-do list, but Asana and Todoist are fugly with non-native apps, Notion is too slow, and Things will never add collaboration. What should I use??

@tdinh_me Wow I do this for years Every table in one db People call me crazy But I do for same reasons: less risk of corrupt db killing everyhting

One thing I learned from building Black Magic: whenever a table is becoming a little too big (10GB+), I'll move it out to a separate DB. Not because it will slow down queries, but to make sure the main database remains small and can be restored quickly in case of emergency.
