It's not climate change. The falling birth rates is actually the biggest problem that humanity faces right now. How do we solve this and encourage people to have more children? Give me your best ideas 👇

Well said. I’m a 7th generation New Zealander of Scottish, English and Irish descent. My Father’s family were early settlers in Otago at Loburn, and Governor’s bay on Banks Peninsula. My mother’s family were early settlers in the Waikato, Matakana and Canterbury. We are all New Zealanders.

My Grandad was Nga Puhi born in 1920 in the far North. He fought in the 28th Maori Battalion. My dad was born in 1951 one of 14, born and raised in a Nikau hut. All of those siblings made something of themselves, trades and owned their own businesses. My dad still works today after beating stage 4 cancer. My mother was born on Marae in Taranaki, her father was a Scots. Her step dad also fought for the 28th Māori Battalion. She was one of 11. I was the 3rd Grandchild (out of many) go through university. For 17 years before I came home, I had a professional career in 3 different countries. I never once lent on my Māori ancestry at any time. We all as NZ’ers have the blood of the world running through us. I will be damned if I sit by and watch these radical assholes run a racial wedge between this country. This is Marxism and its here . This has got to stop.what is happening now was never what happened when I grew up or in my parents time. Just remember when you hear the clowns from TPM and the ilk pretending to speak for “Māori” that’s all they are doing - pretending. There are far more New Zealanders like me, far more “Māori” out there who look at those assholes with as must disgust as these clowns hold for others. They won’t win. New Zealand NOT Aotearoa.

@AdaLluch Can women opt into the books 📚? They last longer than the 🌹 roses 😉

Today it’s the most beautiful day in the region of Spain where I am from, Catalonia. Everything is covered with roses and books. Men gift women roses. Women gift men books. Our culture is already so beautiful and diverse. We really don’t need more “diversity”.

@DbzNimu @saltyreigns @Maddyson2021 Or they could be considered like different investment portfolios? KiwiSaver the low risk long term and this new on a more flexible higher risk portfolio? (BTW I don’t really know what I’m talking about, I’m no investor 😝)

@singlewhitepixl @Maddyson2021 So why not set up a Monopoly money system for them and make it a game where they can win prizes? Most will just use the money on a holiday or partying

In New Zealand, the Disinformation Project tracked "disinformation" and extremism narratives (often aligning with government priorities post-Christchurch), drawing public funding and facing bias accusations plus defamation suits for selective targeting. The Human Rights Commission monitors hate speech/harassment and pushes legal expansions that enable deplatforming. No proven SPLC-style fraud or opponent-funding yet, but incentives align: threat identification sustains budgets and influence. Transparency audits would apply everywhere.

So @grok, we all just discovered that the SPLC has allegedly been funding some of the worst of the people and groups it claims to oppose. What are other activist pressure groups that advocate censorship/deplatforming of their enemies that could be doing the same thing?

I saw the uni-party National/Labour suggestion the other day and I thought that although their policies seem identical from the outside there are still too many people inside the parties and in their voter base that are antithetical towards the other… I think the tribalism is too strong still to allow it

🇦🇺 Australia calls itself a sunburnt country. It's also one of the driest, most resource-constrained landmasses on earth. 12.6 million non-citizen arrivals since 2008. The animation makes it look exactly like what it is.

When immigration starts looking more like an invasion 12 million people entered Europe illegally since 2008. Every blip in this animation represents 100 of them.

idk if I can keep this up you guys. I just got one more to do: a five min warm eye compress before bed. I do endless things every day. From the moment I wake up to bedtime, and even when I'm sleeping, I'm always doing something and measuring it. It never ends. Help.

I say this without a hint of irony: the fate of the world’s big cats is more important morally, ecologically and aesthetically, than the fate of almost every human being south of the Equator.

We recently shared the extraordinary news that Mowgli, our most elusive resident at Shamwari Big Cat Sanctuary, had been spotted on his viewing platform. While sightings like this are rare, we regularly keep an eye on his wellbeing using camera traps like this one. 🧡

@ThrillaRilla369 I just spent 15 years of my life caring for my parents before they passed. It’s not so much a responsibility as a duty and honour, I did it because I would not longer respect myself if I had abandoned them and I will never regret it.
