📢Career Update I'm thrilled to announce that I've joined Arbitrum DAO's OpCo as a Program Manager! In my new role, I’ll be working to connect vision with execution, helping the DAO grow, empowering delegates and contributors, and delivering even more value from the DAO to the broader Arbitrum ecosystem. There are a lot of positive things that I could choose to mention to explain "why Arbitrum DAO", but instead, I'll mention just one single fact: Arbitrum DAO is the biggest L2 DAO that has real power over the protocol itself. For me, that alone is reason enough to take notice and be involved. Helping shape the future of decentralized governance and driving Arbitrum’s mission forward sure sounds exciting! If you're building on Arbitrum and are wondering what the DAO can do for you, or what you can do for the DAO, my DMs are open! Arbitrum everywhere.

@NFTland Duh, but that's the point of raising, no?

What's stopping me from starting a DAO to raise $500,000, put it down as a down-payment for a loan to buy a building in Athens, rent it out, and then use proceeds to pay off the loan and return yield to DAO treasury? 🤔

As a Greek, seeing everyone suddenly be an expert on Odyssey is quite amusing. The movie was fine. If you wanted something realistic, you should have searched for a documentary

@raphbaph Yeah, difficult -if not impossible- to do real world interactions without the trust assumptions

@sinkas Yeah, could be possible. Like what MetaLex are doing helps here. Still people have to trust you to manage their investment well.. Could be a cool crowdfund.

@raphbaph What if the DAO isn't really a DAO, but the unchained part is simply to raise the funds? People who put money in do in typical investment fashion, with contracts and all. It's just done onchain

This is so important for onboarding. Can't stress enough how many times I've had to help normal friends because UX was shifty in an app

CONSUMER APPS If in 20 seconds you're customers can't: > create an account > use your app (send stables/mint nfts) then im sorry but you need a new embedded wallet provider that's why our cracked team at @offchain built @zerodev_app wallet, it's free to try out + works on any chain you can think of (@arbitrum, @robinhoodapp, etc) shoot me a dm if interested - it's literally $0 to sign up

Any pro trader friends who can help with a pointer or two? I've observed my trading, and I've noticed that my biggest 'struggle' is stop-loss placement. While I'm generally good at identifying levels from which price is going to move, I'm not that great when it comes to execution. I've played around with sizing (less size, wider stop), but it feels random. I've tried thinking of where I'd place my stop-loss and then going higher to avoid stop-loss hunts, but I still get hit. I've also tried waiting for a wick to form and then trying to trade around the identified level, but I still face the same problem. E.g. in the example below, I initially wanted to trade the level, using the wick on the top on the left as a stop-loss. Knowing that it will most likely get run, I waited for the first wick to form, and entered the trade after it did. The second wick got run in the first place, and then the price started moving in the 'right' direction. I feel like there's something I'm missing that could help me identify and avoid or capitalize on such movements. Could be volume profiles, could be order book reading, could be timing, could even be better sizing than what I've tried. Would appreciate any pro traders in my TL that could help with a few pointers.

We're aware of a report of a bridge hack on Arbitrum and are investigating. We can confirm that the transaction in question originated from a third party protocol, and the Arbitrum native bridge has not been hacked or exploited in any way. We will coordinate with the third party team and will report more details when we have them.

Artists sometimes contribute tokens to contracts where 99% of the tokens are not art We now have functionality on @raster_art to just index these specific tokens, ignoring the rest of the contract e.g. Cryptovoxels wearables from 2019 by @XCOPYART (flagged by @derekedws) and @Coldie 👇
