"We do know there's the injury there and he's going to be down for quite a bit" Carlos Mendoza says the Mets have "multiple people" looking at the imaging from Francisco Lindor's calf MRI and it's not similar to a lower severity like Juan Soto's calf strain

@MarkCHealey Maybe the issue is the pressure of playing in NY. The one thing that’s hard to plug into a formula is the ability to perform in NY. The Yankees run of late 90s were done with solid core of home grown. Mets traded it away. I’ve always felt smarter to keep home growns who want NY

To the folks trying to make the argument that the #Mets fans are the issue. The beloved Duke Snider, in the midst of a slump in 1955, was being booed by the Ebbets Field faithful incessantly. After another brutal game, he told sportswriters: “The Brooklyn fans are the worst in the league. They don’t deserve a pennant.” The complaint made headlines. The Duke of Flatbush recovered, hitting .309, with 42 home runs, 136 RBIs, and a 1.046 OPS. As the legend goes, Brooklyn won its first and only World Series. The only difference is that social media wasn't available to the lunatics back then.

@NeilAllenFan Steve Hendo with a walk off! Best part of those years… getting upper deck tickets for $1.50 and then moving down every couple of innings until you’re eventually at the rail on field level

This team wasn’t good. They played their hearts out. They fought. I would hang on all 9 innings hoping Youngblood would hit a HR to tie it up knowing he wouldn’t. The 2026 team IMO is boring compared to them. #LGM

There's a probiotic strain that's been clinically proven to target belly fat. Not total body weight Not water weight Visceral fat - The dangerous fat packed around your organs. In multiple clinical trials, People who took this strain for 12 weeks saw measurable reductions in visceral fat, waist circumference, and body weight. No change in diet No change in exercise Just the probiotic. The strain is called L. Gasseri. It naturally lives in your gut and was originally isolated from human breast milk. A randomized, double-blind clinical trial published in the Journal of Medical Food put it to the test. One group received L. Gasseri daily. The other received a placebo. After 12 weeks? Visceral fat decreased significantly in the L. Gasseri group. Waist circumferences shrank. The placebo group? No changes. Separate Japanese research confirmed the same thing - Fermented milk containing L. Gasseri reduced BMI, abdominal fat, and visceral fat that wraps around your organs. Why does this matter? Because not all body fat is equal. Subcutaneous fat sits under your skin. Annoying but relatively harmless Visceral fat is different. It wraps around your liver, kidneys, and intestines. It produces inflammatory chemicals that increase your risk of heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and the "Big C." You can look relatively lean - And still be carrying dangerous amounts of it. L. Gasseri appears to target this specific type of fat. But it does more than just that. It strengthens your gut barrier - Reducing the leakiness that lets toxins flood your bloodstream. It suppresses harmful bacteria while supporting the beneficial ones. It helps regulate appetite hormones - The signals that tell your brain when you're full. It may help lower cholesterol by influencing how your body processes bile acids. And it can reduce IBS symptoms, Especially abdominal pain. When your gut is working properly, your metabolism follows. Here's the problem most people run into: You can buy L. Gasseri in a capsule. Most deliver a few billion bacteria per dose. But most of those bacteria arrive DEAD. Heat, moisture, shelf time, and stomach acid destroy them before they ever reach your gut. A few billion sounds like a lot. It's not. Your gut contains trillions of microbes. A few billion is a drop in the ocean. Not enough to colonize. Not enough to shift the balance. Dr. William Davis (the physician who wrote "Wheat Belly" and "Super Gut") - Figured out a better way: Make your own probiotic yogurt at home using specific strains. Not a pill Not a supplement A highly concentrated probiotic food you make yourself. His protocol: Ferment at 109°F for 36 hours. That extended fermentation time allows the bacteria to multiply far beyond what any capsule can deliver. Trillions of live cultures per batch. Not billions. TRILLIONS. Fresh. Potent. Alive. A half cup a day is the protocol. The difference between a capsule and homemade yogurt is like comparing a garden hose to a fire hydrant. Same water Completely different force I've been making my own probiotic yogurt for a few years now. It was one of the best decisions I ever made for my gut, my digestion, my energy, and my body composition. I've been saying for 30 years: Your weight, your energy, your metabolism - It starts in the gut. When my gut was destroyed, Nothing worked. No diet. No exercise plan. No willpower. When I fixed the gut? Everything downstream changed. Science is finally catching up. And strains like L. Gasseri are one of the biggest reasons why. Comment GUIDE and I'll send you a FREE guide on how to make unlimited probiotics at home. P.S. MUST Follow for me to DM you.

Welcome ⭐Carnice-9b!⭐ - a model for Hermes-Agent Carnice-9b is a fine-tuned version of Qwen3.5-9b to preform exceptionally well in the hermes-agent harness. This model is meant to fit onto consumer GPU's all the way down to 6gb (Q4_K_M), but recommended to run in ~12-16gb cards. Try it out. Any feedback is appreciated, feel free to DM me! huggingface.co/kai-os/Carnice… This would not have been possible without the help from @LambdaAPI, @NousResearch ,@TheZachMueller, @Teknium Look out for Carnice-27b soon! 👀

@TheAhmadOsman Need the Goldilocks config to get my 2 AMD Mi50s 16GB behaving well with qwen3.5-9B. You’d imagine 2 GPUs would be better than 1 but I haven’t found the secret sauce. If only Hermes could work with a context under 24k well. No issues just using llama.cpp

@TeksEdge I just loaded up my second Mi50 16GB yesterday. Now I can upgrade from qwen3.5-9B to -27B! 27B already seems way smarter. Just have to tune them better. My budget allowed for the $145 16GB card, though I really wanted the 32.

💡 Personal Inferencing Budget Hack: AMD MI50 + Qwen3.5. Can you run LLMs on a used AMD Radeon Instinct MI50 Server Card? GPU: AMD MI50 32GB VRAM (~$550 on eBay) Display: 1 × mini-DisplayPort 1.4a 👈 Nice Model: Qwen3.5-27B (Q4_K_M) Framework: llama.cpp Graphics API: Vulkan Real Rumored Performance: ~18–20 tps For ~$550 you get a 32GB VRAM beast that can handle surprisingly large models and long contexts. Not the fastest in 2026… but a budget hack! 🔥

If Twitter existed in 1986: Mets now 2-3 after a brutal home opener. Going nowhere. Strawberry hitting .190. Should be benched. Hojo with a brutal error. Send him to Tidewater. Why the heck is Kevin Mitchell even on the team? Davey should be fired. No feel for team.

BIG DAY! Qwopus 27B v3 is LIVE from Jackrong! This is the third iteration from the line of the viral finetunes previously titled “Qwen3.5-27B-Claude-4.6-Opus-Reasoning-Distilled” It is now simply Qwopus 27B and I love the name change! On paper, the v3 is another remarkable improvement over v2! Most impressively it is the first model of the series that outperforms the base on HumanEval! And retains significant efficiency increases when thinking than the base Qwen 27b! According to tests by @stevibe the V2 version was already performing very closely to the base model in bug finding and tool calling. V3 should exceed it! In my own tests, V2 was the best front end design local model I’ve ever ran on a single GPU! And the efficiency improvements made it much more usable at long contexts, where base Qwen would think forever! I will be running full analysis on the v3 today in Hermes agent and I am very optimistic! I have also had correspondence directly with Jackrong, and he is incredibly grateful for all of the support we’ve sent his way! The man is a genius and pouring a lot of time and effort into this work, so keep the downloads going and let us know your thoughts in the comments! We’ve exchanged contact info so we can keep up the feedback and momentum! If you get a second, we’d love to see your tests! Let us know how it works for your use case and first impressions, and if you have any issues I will do my best to help out in the comments! GGUF here and MLX in thread! huggingface.co/Jackrong/Qwopu…

When Lee Mazzilli made his MLB debut in 1976, I was an instant fan. Little did I know that the kid from Brooklyn would be the main reason I survived the Seaver trade in 1977. Rooting for him was the main reason I got through the Grant's Tomb years. Years later, I was sitting in the picnic bleachers at Shea when he was in town playing for the Pirates. He threw me a ball, and it was the first and last time that ever happened. I was overjoyed when the Mets traded for Lee in 1986, and even more pleased when he was a factor in the team's eventual World Series win. In 2001, I got my first national column assignment at AP, entitled Safe at Home, in which I wrote about the challenges of playing in one's hometown. I was at Yankee Stadium and got the chance to interview Lee Mazzilli in the clubhouse. He was great and spent more time with me than I asked for. So Happy Birthday Lee, and I hope you have a great day!

EVs overall cost about 49% more to insure than gas-powered cars on average (e.g., ~$4,058/year for EVs vs. ~$2,732/year for gas vehicles, per Insurify data). For Teslas specifically, full-coverage insurance is often higher due to expensive repairs (specialized parts, batteries, high claim frequency), performance/power, and vandalism risks in some cases.

AMD users i need your data. i have almost zero AMD configs in my benchmark collection and i can't answer these questions properly without real numbers. if you're running any model on Vulkan or ROCm drop your GPU, model, tok/s, and engine below. 7900 XTX, R9700, 6800XT, anything. one reply from you fills a gap i can't fill from NVIDIA alone.

🚨 TURN OUT THE LIGHTS - New York has introduced a bill in Albany that would FORCE ALL residents to TURN OFF their outdoor lights at 11 PM or face FINES of $250-$500+ EACH TIME! The "New York State Dark Skies Protection Act" is a bill aimed at "reducing light pollution, conserving energy, protecting wildlife, and preserving views of the night sky." The law would require property owners of all kinds, (single family homes, multi-family homes, apartment buildings, commercial buildings, etc) to shut OFF their outdoor lights from 11 PM until sunrise. Leave it up to New York to IGNORE blatant problems like CRIME, BUDGET DEFICITS, and HOMELESSNESS surrounding us, yet FORCE it's LAW-ABIDING residents to comply to their USELESS and DRACONIAN Lighting mandates, OR ELSE! Keep Fighting 🇺🇸
