Much more flexible than macos. Don't have to install an app for every small thing. Core windowing and control and general usage paradigms are much better. Easier to replace built-in things when needed (e.g. explorer vs finder). Also a lot more software compatibility (e.g. for cad/3d printing etc)

For me: Linux >>>> Windows >> macOS Even though mac is my primary these days

@tellsachin @sabeer Totally agree with this assessment but nobody will question the status quo. As parents we can teach our children that failing is ok but what matters is giving your best as unlike other countries, life is not fair here.

@sabeer While failure remains a normal outcome of any human endeavour, as a nation we are unkind to it. We are constantly programmed to be a success else the world would fall apart. Don't know how many other countries are that paranoid.

Benioff's doing what every CEO with AI budgets is doing — just being louder about it. The real question isn't whether companies stop hiring engineers. It's whether the engineers they keep become 10x more productive or just 10x more burned out managing AI output nobody fully understands.
